Anyone who is a fan of Stephen King's Dark Tower series knows that he considers it his 'Magnum-opus'. The story to end all stories. Unfortunately i haven't read all of his stories and so i may not have noticed all of the references in the series (which as you probably know, is riddled with them). I have already spotted the obvious tie-ins to 'The Stand' and 'Salem's Lot' as well as the less obvious links to 'IT' and 'Children of the Corn'. However, when i read today about the two guys who saved Callahan from the cluthces of The Hitler Brothers i couldn't help but wonder if they too were linked to another of his works?

So, if you know this or any other tie-ins or references said throughout the books please sound off below and we'll try to gather as many as possible to enrich our/my journey to The Tower.

Say thankee, and do'ya fine!

There's references to the low men, the tower and the Crimson King all over the place.

The Crimson King in particular pops up in various incarnations (like in "Insomnia")

Uhm, did we read the same books? You did get to 'the ending', right?
lawls, I don't think he meant the literal end of the series, but rather his prime series, much like how WWI was the War to End All Wars. There was others after it, but at that time it was considered the Great War, and afterwards (before WWII was on the horizon) it was still considered that.

OT: Definitely one of my favorite series, and the ending was somewhat....chilling

EDIT: Sorry, I was extremely let down at the end. It seemed King had no idea how he was going to end the series, and kind of cheated fans with a horrible ending.

The wiki posted above should answer your questions tho... Cheers!
I haven't gotten that far yet. As i said im only at the the part where Callahan gets saved which is in the fourth book. I keep hearing bad things about the eneding though so i don't know if i should look forward to it as much as i am :/
