Maybe not the darkest I've ever heard, but any song by Ana Kefr is pretty dark/bleak in terms of lyric subject. Their very name, Ana Kefr, means "I am infidel", and pretty much all their songs are attacks on either religion in general or the hypocrisy (as they see it) of the UN. I don't care about the lyrics, I just love the music, but it's interesting to read up on some of their thoughts occasionally.
I just listened to a few tracks off of embryodead and I'm really digging the theme so far it's definitely really interesting. And if my last post sounded kinda like "oh an album about fetuses, sweet!" it's just because I like to be enthusiastic about everything.lacktheknack said:
