2. Cel-shaded graphics. I know theyre trying to make it more like the comic, and normally I much prefer a stylised look, but the new graphics have sucked out the murky and shadowy atmosphere of the first game.

Indeed, but failed the whole "comic book" feel.

If anything, games that should have the whole comic book style idea should draw inspiration from XIII the game otherwise it seems like an intolerable excuse.

5. Jackie has not been consumed by the darkness. The ending of the first game indicated that the Darkness had consumed Jackie's personality and morality, but he mentions early on "Not this, not again" implying that he has rejected the Darkness since then, making the original game's ending MEANINGLESS. JACKIE'S ENTIRE CHARACTER ARC HAS BEEN RENDERED POINTLESS. FUCK YOU DIGITAL EXTREMES.

6. No dialogue options. Godammit.

7. Gang members don't care about the Darkness. Not only can you not turn the Darkness off (you read that right), but your fellow Gang members don't give a shit about the manisfestation of evil oozing out of your back. One guy literally says "Oh shit Jackie what the hell is that never mind go kill these dudes"

did you even play the same demo as me?

1, taken out of context that is a silly quote, in context its creepy and sets the charecter up as crazy nicely

2: i like the new graphics, but to be honest im somewhat bored of the drive towards realism so i may be biased

3: turn them off then.

4: to me the whole, grab item and hammer a dosent really count as a qte's, to me a qte is something that flashes buttons during a cut scene for no damn reasone

5: all we saw was the darkness start too feed on jacky, then the scene with him and jenny in..were ever that was, ending with "jacky.. wake up"

6: now youre just reaching for any little thing that annoyed you

7: "Whats is that thing!" "Its the darkness!" "Its the devil!" "oh god this isnt real!" plus bear in mind pretty much the ENTIRE mafia has seen him use those things
