And I personally don't see gears of war or halo as incentive enough to warrant a Xbox purchase, but some people do. Especially considering the price difference between the Wii and the Xbox.

neither do I....as much as Ive always wanted to play gears I cant justify an xbox purchase (if only the bastards released it on PC like they should have)

I cant argue with how well the wii sold...but I still (personally) see it as a peice of crap..you know..personally,

It's funny, Nintendo originally made high-quality franchises like Mario and Zelda on the NES to woo people back to gaming after they had been burnt by casual shovelware on earlier consoles.

Now they just coast on the reputation they earned back then, and are one of the biggest contributors to the casual fad that they had previously saved us from.
