I have never even heard of darksiders... I didn't realise it had enough hype for people to be so excited that they create topics when the review is out.
Sweet. I was hoping this game would be good, and from the looks of it, it'll kick ass.
Glad I preordered it.
And about people saying there's cash involved, they said the same thing when the first review of Arkham Asylum was a 9/10 and that game was fantastic (at least in my opinion.)

All I know of Darksiders if there's some sort of large, black, demonic horse involved. I've seen it on the posters & mock-box-art (at Ye Olde Local Game Shopppe) and at this year's PAX the had a booth featuring a mechanical bull made up to look like said demon-equine. Never saw any screenshots, or game demos; not even sure where they had any since it all seemed to center around the horse.
Thus, I'll scroll through the review so I'll at least have half-a-clue as to what the damned game is supposed to be about.

I have to say, after reading the review, the game has managed to jump onto my radar. I'll have to wait for more reviews and more importantly, player reviews before i decide whether to buy it or not.
Hm... so this is Prototype... only with magic and demons for a story (and more bossmonster)?

I saw an interview with one of the devs, and he just seemed to "get it."
Its hard to put my finger on it, but he just seemed all together in the head. He understands games a lot, and what makes them fun and unique as a medium for entertainment.

The Devs said it would be too hard to get the experience in just 20 mins. Because then you would only have like 20 min of fighting, or puzzle solving, or story. No way to get all three in the demo.
Good point, I can see why they said no demo then. It's so hard to choose what games to get next year! I will only be able to get like one or two games out of Darksiders, Heavy Rain, God of War 3 and Final Fantasy 13. And I think Bioshock 2 is coming out early in the year as well. D:pimppeter2 said:
