Yes, because compared to air samples from millions/thousands of years ago found in glaciers in Greenland, the CO2 content has been constant - except for recently, around 300 years ago. Ring a bell? Yeah, when fossil fuel use started increasing.

CO2, greenhouse effect, global warming... based on previous posts I would not expect you to understand, but you can look up the relationship.

Understanding it has nothing to do with preventing it. I understand gravity makes us fall to the floor and yet levitation is out of my grip

On topic; you only have to look at an average global temperature map to see if the earth is heating up or satellite pictures of the Arctic to see it has shrunk in size. Whether or not we effect it greatly or at all is another question although, there is no reason not to reduce fossil fuels because I for one am not a fan of acid rain of water pollution. And if it takes the "scam" of global warming to convince people we need cleaner energy them I'm all for it

Plus evolution takes millions of years and a slight increase in temperature is not adequate reason for a particular gene to become much more ueful and the lesser ones to die out.
