I am thinking of ditching cellphone companies almost completely and getting an android or iphone without contract, and using a broadband company to pay monthly for data only and pay monthly for skype subscription and a number to go with it. The reason is, skype is a lot cheaper at 2$ a month for unlimited minutes, and with that I can get a number for 30$ a year. I was asking you people what would be the best route of research to approach this.
