Just when I thought things over-bloated insanely hyped film couldn't possibly get more bloated and hyped, they throw in more villains along with the handful of heroes they have in it already. And it's not even the most interesting villains either (I'll give em Waller because she makes sense for a Justice League series in the long run).

First, giving us hints Darkseid will be the main villain is kind of discouraging because it seems like the easiest and most predictable set up DC could do (given he's one of the biggest villains in DC continuity). And it's a shame because DC has plenty of decent villains we could build up to for a big Justice League movie (I still want to see Vandal Savage take the stage).

Second, I still maintain that a live action "World's Finest" (the Joker/Luthor team up against Batman/Superman) would have been all we really needed with just a few additions to give it more meat. Especially because making the biggest Batman villain and biggest Superman villain be uneasy allies is just a fun concept (especially given who they are). That said, I get WHY they won't do that (there are plenty of reasons not to use Joker, all if which I disagree with, but I understand why).

I'll wait and see. We still keep getting random news drops about what new pointless addition will be added to the cast. Show me a trailer or something already so I can at least see what progress has been made on this potential trainwreck of a film.

I think the only thing that seems interesting about news like this is Amanda Walker, just because I'm trying to imagine who may or may play as her in Dawn of Justice...

Other than that... Now, I can't wait until those teaser trailers are released... The thought of how much would not be shown in those trailers is sounding more priceless by the minute...

At this rate, I'm beginning to think it would be faster to tell us who isn't in this "Superman" movie. I'm sure next week we'll learn that they intend to have Black Canary, Green Arrow, and Supergirl show up in it as well. But don't worry, they'll happily have Deathstroke, Cheetah, and Doomsday, too.

I WANT this movie to be good Warner Brothers/DC, I really do. Yet, every reveal you make fills me with a sense of oncoming dread instead of glee.

Darkseid as the Big Bad huh? You know what mistake Marvel didn't do? Using their biggest bad right off the bat. Where do you go from there? Only down. And considering the choices thus far for the movie, that is a short step with a long drop.
Darkseid isnt even the biggest bad in the DC Universe. He is one of the big big bads as it were. Big bads are guys like Luthor, Joker, Bizarro and such. Bigger bads are guys like Darkseid, Doomsday and Brainiac. The biggest bads are things like the Anti-Monitor from the Green Lantern Comics and Superboy Prime. There's basicly a sort of hierarchy to the villians, similar to how you got heroes which are stronger than other heroes.

Anyway i doubt Darkseid would be in the movie, foreshadowing maybe, but he wont be in it. He is too big a threat on his own to need shared screentime with small-time villians which could barely compare to the guy. What they should do though is include Hush. Hush is one of the best Batman Villians and he is essentially Batman's version of Luthor, except Hush knows who Batman is.
