Bethesda's parent company ZeniMax Media has filed a trademark for "computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices" called Dawnguard, and while it could be something very different, it seems likely to be a Skyrim DLC.
Dawnguard's name is very similar to the mythic dawn from oblivion which would imply the DLC has something to do with the Daedra or mythic dawn survivors. It might also be about the Vigilants of Stendarr, a group of Daedra hunters which, despite having a base in Skyim and looking allot like a joinable faction have no quests with the possible exception of the Molag-bal Daedric quest.
It also may have somthing to do with Azura, the Daedric lord of dawn and dusk who played a large-ish part in Morrowind.
So any thoughts on this?
