It might just be me, but did you guys know that the clocks went/go back today by an hour? (In most places, i.e. Europe, Russia, Cuba, Mexico, etc)

I had no idea, myself. In fact, I just spent the last ten minutes trying to fix my computer's clock. Someone usually mentions it in conversation (Ah! an extra hour in bed!/Argh! One less hour in bed!)

So do you guys think this clock change was un-talked-about, or am I just going crazy?

No one tells me these things, but I cleverly figured it out when I noticed my PC clock had gone back whilst my dining room clock hadn't. Take that Sherlock Holmes!

I have my clock programmed to move back a hour when appropriate. It's one of those high-tech ones.

I don't think we set the clocks here for another week... Or am I wrong, Torontonians?

I remembered, in fact I've got a post-it note stuck on the wall to remind me. Which was a bit of a waste of time anyway, since the two things I use most to tell the time (my phone and my computer) both changed automatically.

I just mindfucked when I saw my watch in comparison to my laptop clock, luckily you've reminded me. Now back to watching The Shining.

I have a magic clock, although I didn't know it at first. I was informed that the clocks would be going back tonight, so I was getting ready to set it back, when all of a sudden, BAM! The clock started setting itself. I fell backwards, screaming, "What wizardry is this?!" for all and sundry to hear.

Hasn't occurred yet. I think it doesn't until November in Canada. I'll check.

Nope, not until next weekend for me.

I do wonder, why can't we scrap the damn idea?

Wasn't it only in place for farmers to give them an extra hour in the fields?

I'm not saying there's no farmers any more, but just that maybe it'd be easier for only farmers to adjust their day, than everyone.

Even with DST, we end up going to and coming back from school/work in the dark, so it's not changing much, just making us fiddle with clocks and giving us an excuse to be late once a year :D
