"Film director plans on including the continuity..."

Fuck yeah, a director who cares!

".....of films that were complete shit"

GOD DAMMIT.

X3 was one of the first films that I actually wanted to walk out of, and X-Men Origins was a guide on how not to make a film about Wolverine.

This is a mixed blessing, probably one of the biggest ones in recent film news (the only other one I can think of was the "At The Mountains of Madness film!......directed by Guillermo del Toro).

No. You know what? No. That is not on. That is just straight up not on. You apologise to X-Men Wolverine right now - you can say its a bad movie, but calling it worse than Highlander 2 is just not on.

Thats the movie equivalent of calling someone who took your gurlfriend Hitler. You just do. Not. Do. That.
I look at it this way: say what you want about Highlander 2, but it had Sean Connery in it. Did XMOW? No? I rest my case.

Sean Connery was in Zardoz and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Clearly, Connery is not awesome.
Yes he is, he was the only reason both of those movies were entertaining at all.

Jackman is good, but there's only a few F Grade movie he can bring up to a C-.

Zardoz was no higheer than a D, and League was F+ at best.
Exactly, it just goes to show what Connery can do! Without him those movies would have been an F and a G- respectively!

XMOW is sadly still at F, even with the Hugh Jackman factor.

The math doesn't lie.

Why the hell did he get banned?

I don't get it, what's so bad about origins? I thought it was a great action movie. Not so necessary to cut out of continuity in my opinion.
Other than the continuity errors and scientific errors (even it's a comic book movie Newton's Laws deserve respect). It rushes the entire Origin storyline (the six issue series actually called "Origin") before the credits, and decides to flashforward to the modern-era, it doesn't try to do anything with Wolverine other than "he's Wolverine." In fact, instead of the "monster" he was so claimed to be, we find he's a pretty average person.

This whole mess of continuity, and changing and retconning things. . why couldn't they get it right the first time? because they were incompetent. So just forget about getting the unimportant things right, and focus on getting a great script and making a movie out of it that can stand on it's own critically.
Yeah it is quite depressing, the lack of attention to continuity is just one piece of evidence that shows how they like to make these movies for a quick-buck for people who go on the name alone. We can only hope that's changed these days.

I still think "days of future past" is cool sounding but really stupidly worded.

No comment on continuity. Continuity is plague upon fandom that always seem to do more harm then good.

XMOW had Hugh Jackman.
I'm yet to see a good Hugh Jackman movie. Also, he sucks as Wolverine. I'm sorry, I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think he's awful in the role.
