I'm feeling rather cheerful today, dunno why but I decided that we could all do with a warm fuzzy feeling inside, at least for today.

So here's the schizzle, state what you love about your country and then something you love about another country (or countries if your feeling generous). There's only one rule. No insults disguised as complements. For example: "I love America because it isn't Canada." That's a big no-no.

I'll give you mine.

I love the British people's self deprecating attitude, combined with our harsh sarcastic wit. We think everything we do is mediocre but when the shit hits the fan you certainly don't want to be an enemy of the British.

America. I love the American people's enthusiasm, they're so enthusiastic that it some times comes across as arrogance but I don't think so. For everything you like or dislike about America, there is one thing they know how to do well, and that's food, they bloody know how to eat and eat well.

I love America's... Pride.

I love Canada's medical coverage I suppose.
I don't really know what it is, but it sounds nice.

I love British achievements (I'm a lord, so I must), and despite all that murky past stuff you have to admit for a tiny little nation we did pretty good. Apologies to all that we pissed off along the way.

And I love Malta. The people are very friendly, but when you try and stop that they'll fight, and harshly. Look at WWII for instance. They started off with some AA and coastal batteries and three obsolete planes, and progressed into a plane-chomping fortress.

I love how a nation so small has achieved so much(Britain)

I love how Japan has recovered so miraculously from WW2.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with there. Japan has progressed so much it's insane.

I appreciate France's excellent taste in food and clothing.

I also very much love the British sense of humor.

France, your country is gorgeous, and the people in South are bilingual, so it made it easier to get by. Thanks for the awesome food and undying longing to go back.

Ireland, you're very friendly and curious, especially about us Canadians and our "wonderful, soft accents". Pictures don't do you justice.

To Korea(south): Thank you for giving me hope for games. Maybe one day, games will be as well recognized in my country as they are in yours. Also, thank you for Manhwa. i got into that waaay before manga.
To Greece and Italy: Thank you for having such rich and diverse cultures/history. you made my history classes worth it.
to China: What happened to you? You used to be awesome! I guess you still are in some ways, but why did you become such a tight ass?
To Europe in general: Um, keep up the good work. And I hope that no more volcanoes erupt anytime soon.
And finally, To Australia: How you manage to live in thank deathtrap of an Island is beyond me, but you do, so I give you the highest respect.
