I'm feeling rather cheerful today, dunno why but I decided that we could all do with a warm fuzzy feeling inside, at least for today.
So here's the schizzle, state what you love about your country and then something you love about another country (or countries if your feeling generous). There's only one rule. No insults disguised as complements. For example: "I love America because it isn't Canada." That's a big no-no.
I'll give you mine.
I love the British people's self deprecating attitude, combined with our harsh sarcastic wit. We think everything we do is mediocre but when the shit hits the fan you certainly don't want to be an enemy of the British.
America. I love the American people's enthusiasm, they're so enthusiastic that it some times comes across as arrogance but I don't think so. For everything you like or dislike about America, there is one thing they know how to do well, and that's food, they bloody know how to eat and eat well.
