DBZ Question: How did Bulma and Vegeta got hitched?

Alright than.

To this day I still don't know how they end up together despite the revelation from Trunks. I mean for Goku and Chi Chi we see them get married at the very final episode of Dragon Ball and a lot of build up and development lead up to it.

Here they timeskipped it for Bulma and Vegeta. We don't even get to see Trunks being born.

I've never seen him take a huge poop either, but I assume it happens. We only see him in combat situations, so it makes sense that you wouldn't notice much else. Most of the characters he interacts with for the first two seasons are men, and are enemies. That doesn't mean the dude doesn't get horny as hell. If you put Bulma and Vegeta alone together for a long enough period of time then they're going to bone. It makes sense, given their personalities. They had a one night stand, and Bulma got pregnant. It's not complicated.

You can complain that it came out of nowhere, but the creator is infamous for just making shit up as he goes along.

I have no idea, I've always hated that pairing. Vegeta is a genocidal maniac, he has never shown the slightest remorse for his many, many massacres (at least not as far as I watched the show). I don't get why everybody just forgives him when he's obviously a murdering sociopath who doesn't care about anyone. It's actually revolting that Bulma willingly has a child with him. In my opinion Vegeta is so far past the moral event horizon that there is nothing he could do to redeem himself, even if he actually showed any remorse.

Also, if you want a real Dragon Ball discussion you might want to go to Kanzenshuu. They are the best DB forum I've seen and are still somewhat active. I don't have an account there, but sometimes I like to go over and read some of their threads.

Well, to my memory, Future Trunks described it as a moment of passion thing. In the mainstream timeline? The sexual tension started building up while Vegeta was training for the Androids saga, kinda a Florence Nightengale syndrome thing on her end. On his end the one of the major things that attracted him to her were likely the simple fact that she actually seemed to care about him to that extent, and even showed signs of interest in him from time to time. Considering that he spent most of his life under Frieza's thumb, and most of the other earthlings still regarded him with a mixture of fear, distrust, and anger, that was likely a very novel experience for him. Bulma also rather uniquely had a force of personality that kept her from being cowed by Vegeta's own abrasiveness and even allowed her to turn the tables on him a few times. In other words, she unknowingly presented herself as an equal. Mind you, this is largely inference.

Yeah, this honestly makes the most sense to me despite DBZA being a (very clever) parody. There's was never the great love affair: it just kind of happened and they grew into it to a functional degree. I mean they love each other, in so much as they're both capable of doing so.

Or maybe Bulma was an expert on Saiyan masturbatory habits (after being around a teenage Goku for such a long time) and managed to collect some of that stuff and got herself pregnant (or just test tube cloned Trunks who knows it's "the future", right?) so that Vegeta wouldn't get super evil anymore as he'd have a son flying around.

Dbz really only shows the later though. I mean it's specifically a show about incrementally stronger bad guys showing up out of the blue so the good guys can train harder and scream a little lighter till their hair grows long enough to punch them to death.

In Dragonball Super Vegeta actually talks a little about it. He mentions how all saiyan women are very strong-willed and tough, so saiyan men find that attractive. Chi-Chi and Bulma are both pretty similar in their attitudes, even if Bulma doesn't know martial arts. Both of them regularly back-talk the GOD OF DESTRUCTION... eventually, once they realize he's not likely to blow up the planet on a whim.

Vegeta and Bulma hooked up during a three year time skip, but they didn't actually seem to become romantically involved until during the seven year time skip before the Buu saga. Even then, it's not until Vegeta realizes how he really feels about his family during the Buu saga that he starts to show affection, and in Super they're basically as a normal a couple as you can get. Super has done a good job of exploring the relationships of the characters instead of being purely about fighting. It had a rough start but the current arc with Future Trunks is outstanding. Four words: FATHER-SON GALICK GUN.

It boiled down to the writers being idiots and letting a fan fic writer on to the staff. Even as a kid the pairing made no sense to me. If people like the paring, then more power to them,n ut I have seen more plausible and better pairings in other anime shows.
