i've been playing DC universe off an on since it went free to play, and while some character i don't know off hand, there is one in particular that's got my curiosity peaked (not in a good way, i kinda wanna hit him, his voice is annoying)

who the hell is Booster Gold and why is he face all over the Metropolis

Booster is a time traveler from the 25th century. He decides that he wants to be the most famous superhero of all time, so he sends himself back in time, using his knowledge of the "past" to make sure he's in the right place at the right time. But he's not really in it for the saving people, just the fame. He grows out of this later, but he's a shameless self-promoter. Which is why he's all over Metropolis.
