Quite enjoyable this week guys, though i do have some points to say which i hope you do take upon yourselves for your next video in the same vein as this one.
First of all, Tad Maul? - if i heard correctly- I hope this was simply done as a tribute to Brass Eye's Ted Maul. However even if it was a simple tribute, or possibly you heard the name watching Brass Eye back in the day and it stuck in your head, or maybe you ripped it off completly. People will generally focus on the latter of the 3 and use it to bash you.

Next, you're using only a handful of actors for multiple roles, similar to a sketch show. I Implore you to - guessing by your accents and what you may be familiar to - like Harry Enfield, Big Train and Man-Woman that you make more of attempt to disguise an actor if he has just appeared on screen. In this case using the Actor for the Newscaster as some of the people whitin the stories themselves. Just seemed lazy to me.
And it doesn't have to be substantial appearance changes. A pair of sunglasses, a Hat or two, or even taking on person who is quite distinguishable in the first place - ie the ginger long haired bloke, who i assume is the creator giving himself plenty of screen time, no offence - and confining him to one role.

I know of course people have complained about the humor itself, however these things stood out to me as simple issues you could fix. The humor, though not exactly brilliant, yet still showing potential is something you can develop. Though, just watch letting things run on too long, use clever edits to keep it short and sweet.

I really loved the resident evil episode but you guys really need to stop just stealing jokes from other stuff.

Just imitating stuff aint funny 'choke this isn't maxwell house' was the worst punchline ever considering how much you dragged that little bit out.

The little Yatzhee bit was a cheap shot and made you guys look a bit foolish and short of ideas and the mario bit was awful if you'd of rammed that joke down my throat any further you'd have been touching cloth. You need to work on your writing guys keep it short and snappy considering the Ted Maul reference you've obviously watched a bit of Brass eye/the day today so you should know what i mean.
Keep it up guys

Damn , as I read through I felt all sorts of things but each was covered by someone else especially drong and lightwave.
The artistic merit is of a standard worthy of high school drama and not much else.
The thing about Yahtzee is that every part of each of his reviews is entertaining. His style is fresh and new (new as in "new in the last 12 months"). His delivery is fast but also intelligent and people can connect to his views, a lot of gamers feel like he does about the shite we put up with as gamers.
As for the de-rez mob, getting admiration from the same low-brow retards that pay for games such as mario-anything, playboy mansion and final fantasy (enter number between 1 and infinity) does not substitute for class. This merely accentuates your dull outlook.
Reach for the stars boys and you may hit the moon.

Alright, alright.

I do admit I found myself laughing quite a lot at the Yahtzee bit.

Although I'm not sure how they get away with submitting stuff which basically takes the piss out of the entire Escapist establishment anyway. xP

Why do these videos suck? I thought The Escapist had some eye for quality, but apparently not. Maybe even I could make some half assed videos not even worth putting on YouTube and get hosted here.
The Escapist sees potential in these guys, which they do have, although I think they need to start using it. Comparing them to ZP is pretty pointless for three reasons:
1) De-Rez isn't a review;
2) De-Rez is live action, ZP is not (one of the reasons we get ZP once a week and De-Rez once every two weeks);
3) They aren't Yahtzee, nor will they ever be anything like Yahtzee. They can be De-Rez only.

They could have done a bit more with the Yahtzee parody instead of just having him run around a field like a fool. A fair effort though.
