1) First and foremost. FIX THE SAVE SYSTEM. I mean like quick saves and more save files.
2) Online co-op play would be incredible.
3) A relaxed learning curve on the psychopaths would be nice.
4) Remove the time limit.
I'm sure there's more and I can't wait to hear what my fellow Escapists have to say.
The Wii version of the game has an improved save system (I didn't play myself, but I hear) and there is that one mode that lets you play endlessly with the addition of a hunger system. What?s the name of it? There?s 72-Hour mode, Overtime mode, and the one I described. A mode where you can play infinitely and not have to worry about the life because of hunger is...I really don't know if it's needed. One can play 72-Hour mode repeatedly, and you keep your character, but the only reason that you wouldn't want the time limit is if you wanted to keep your items, but eventually they break and you have to go to their spawn points anyway.
I don't think that the
main game mode would benefit from not having a timer because the story of the first game basically revolved around the fact that you only have 72 hours in this mall. I loved the story, it was my favorite part of the game. I just don't know if the no timer/hunger system would work in Deadraising.
On topic, I am also not exactly happy with the Vegas setting, but hopefully it's a mall with a casino or some crap like that. A hotel with a casino and mall sized shopping area? I like it. Could be the guy heard of an event that was going to go down at this hotel and rented a room, and he wakes up and
BAM! zombies. And he's a photojournalist, just he has a digital camera. I loved the camera system in the original, because it was an interesting way to get experience. Plus, you could play the beginning, get a bunch of PP for pictures, save and start over. Do it enough and your level 50! But more seriously, I did like the camera thing. I just want it to be in a mall or a mall like area. Maybe he's in a hotel/casino and has to escape to a mall? Just
really looking forward to that mall. With a better save system. And I liked Otis. Didn't really think he was all that annoying, only the fact that they didn't have a hands-free headset in this
entire mall? Really?
