Has anyone found any use for money in Dead Rising 2?

My guy has 1.5 million dollars (mostly from playing the game show a few times, I think) and nothing to do with it. Buying weapons from the pawn shops seems like a waste of the build mechanic's novelty and you can only use so much Zombrex.

You can buy the keys to the Red Hummer in the Shamrock Casino, the car in Royal Flush Plaza, and you can daydream about how Chuck will never need to compete in some stupid reality show ever again to get Katey zombrex.

Other than that, its pretty superfluous.

I got the SUV through gambling though, only took 5-10 minutes.

The SUV (red hummer) costs 2 million. Sports car 500k. Knights boots 2 million. And I think the chopper(as in harley type chopper not the flying kind) is 2 million.

Look for all of the pawn shops it will be in one of them. I am not sure if it is a chopper as in motor bike (most likely) or as in a roflcopter helicopter.

I think the best way to get cash it, get the ninja suit, all 3 gambling mags (and if your lazy a turbo controller) and pay $1,000 to play the big slot machine on the wall of the slot ranch casino (I think).

I made over 1.5 million in about 5 minutes (not a hyperbole) and bought the SUV. It's alot quicker than TIR, when you take into account loading times, TK talking and match making.

Yeah you don't have to buy the chopper if you took out the guy on the motorcycle near the beginning of the game. I think it is there to purchase in case you miss him. Either way....yeah....not a lot to spend your moneys on.

I don't know, SUV - 2 million, boots - 2 million, car - 500k, chopper - 500k (I think) thats 5 million atleast, thats a fair bit of cash. Then theres zombrex but you can get that for free.

Nope, thats all he needs. He only needs one zombrex per 24 hours, so if it's meant to be held one a day he's good ... he even has change for loads of food!

That...doesn't make sense. He does over 24 hours worth of work for 24 hours of Zombrex? I mean, it just seems like... one day and then you are back at square one. I dunno...

If TIR is held once a day (say the out break didn't happen) then he would be ok, he would win, get Katey her zombrex then win again to pay for her next one etc.

If it is held once a month your right, although it would make it easier on that 1 day.

I believe you're forgetting that the high prices are from looters, not Phenotrans. For all we know, the price Phenotrans sells it for could be $500 - $1,000 per shot, in which case the $30,000 could be just enough if TIR is held once a month.

On the topic of the chopper, the chopper is a motorcycle and can be found on a platform in the Yucatan Casino.
