With the release of halo reach dead rising 2 seems to have been swept under the rug but having played both reach and DR2 I honestly have to say DR2 is dare I say it...better. Capcom fixed almost all the issues with the first DR my one and only beef with DR2 is that theres no auto save but thats so over whelmed by just how fun it is.Hell near the end of the game it even gets semi scary. I just love the game so I just want to know what the rest of you think?

PS: Katey is adorable and combo weapons are amazing! defiler FTW!

I was gonna say, Onyx. I have no desire to play any halo games and I love DR2, but I still think that comparison is ridiculous.

On a side note, maybe it is because everyone is playing reach (or no one liked DR 2) but it is really hard to find TIR matches some times...

Edit: you and Yahtzee with the defiler... I do not understand this. It is way too slow... trying to use it on a boss fight is an exercise in frustration and, frankly, I would rather use a faster weapon on the zombies.

Halo: Reach takes itself really seriously and has a pretty well written story
Dead Rising 2 is just pure, senseless, unadulterated fun
How can they possibly be compared? =P

i have to agree that Reach and Dead Rising 2 are not the same type of game. with that said, i have really enjoyed DR2. my only problem with the game is the controls. does anyone know of a way to dodge attacks?

Eventually through your levelling up you unlock a dodge roll.

Just click the left stick while moving to roll.

Haven't played DR2 yet because DR1 just frustrated the hell out of me and it came out at the same time as Reach, something that I anticipated a lot. Though what I've heard, DR2 has been fixed and Halo Reach is a bit of a dissapointment (lack of sandtrap, lots of spawnspoint fails, campaign is not absolutely amazing, alpha zombie traits stripped from custom games, etc.) so there might have been more improvement in DR2 than in Halo: Reach. That's the only way I can think of comparing them.

You gotta have Chuck to take a piss to save the game and the time limit really takes the fun of killing zombies (and I have the need to save everyone). Other than that, I really like the game.

Just hold the attack button and spin round, in a group of zombies nothing is better. Although if you have a hail Mary or a hand+dynamite and go to the outside entrance to the safe house and throw it in ...

I love DR2, I am still working on 70,000 zombies. Need to set it up right first though, just need the keys to the car in the mall and the free zombrex laying round and I am sorted.

I like the save system, quick/auto saving makes games way too easy and dying has no repercussions, atleast this way it makes it a problem and something you should avoid, not a minor problem.

DR2 and Halo Reach are awesome. The amount of zombies that get to be on screen at once is insane, makes it hard to do missions when you just want to kill everything in sight!

Yeah, I find that not working as well as I would like. I always seem to only hit one or two of them.

Geesh...my count is just over 4,000... Also, I have found no free zombrex yet =( Gotta play some more, apparently.

I got up to 42,000 but that was only a semi serious attempt and you only get up to the gas zombies before the game ends, if you ignore the story, which you need to do to get 72,000.
