Name: Trodaire McCarthy.

Age: 22

Gender: male

City/Region: Dewford town/Hoenn.

Appearance: A tall thin man he isn's overly thin but he has very little fat on himself. His hair is blond, cut short so the many zubats that fly in the caves he wondered couldn't grab onto it and hold on. Bright green eyes and over a short long nose, this itself pointing out over a wide mouth with laugh lines on the edges. Long arms with fairly thin hands and fingers, which are surprisingly strong, and covered in old scars from his finger tips up past his lebows from climbing and crawling in caves.
He has a stainless steel chain type necklace around his neck, one shrunken fairly scared and worn pokeball connected to the chain by a magnetized connector (Bog). Usually wearing a short sleeved tucked in gray button up shirt and dark blue jeans, the knees padded with leather. He wears half-calve combat boots and has a one strap backpack that he wears whenever he is going out into the wilderness or on any kind of journey. He also has a thigh bag that is strap around his left leg, inside is the other 2 shrunken pokeballs. All of them with stickers for what is inside, as well as their nicknames scratched into the ball under the sticker.

Personality: He likes talking with the other trainers that make their way through his town, as well as any he comes across in his travels. Always kind and nice he is also interested in how other people train and treat their pokemon, but will become angry if he see's anyone mistreating their pokemon. He acts like his own pokemon are friends and wont push them beyond what he think they can take, though sometimes they will anyways because of stuborness or they think they can do it.

Biography:
Born in dewford he spent the first 10 years watching trainers walk into the gym there and most of them come back out holding 6 knocked out pokemon. Watching some of the pokemon battles in a side room with moniters and special cameras for when it was to dark to see with normal ones, he got his first taste of how amazing pokemon are. He pestered the gym leader of the time to teach him but because he didn't have a pokemon of his own he was told to come back when he thought he would be able to complete the gym.
For his tenth birthday his dad took him to see the professor to get his own very first pokemon. His dad flying them to the professors lab he let Tro go in and talk to and pick his pokemon by himself. Walking in and getting introduced he looks at the three pokemon offered to new trainers. After thinking ot over and getting a small burn from the fire pokemon he chose the water/ground mudkip and after being given it he was asked to try it out and walk in the tall grass outside and then come back to get the rest of his things. Running out and waving to his dad he ran into the tall glass and was attacked right away by several very small and weak pokemon, calling his new pokemon out of his pokeball and after a few scratchs and a very hard peck he left the grass and ran back to the lab. After getting his mudkip healed he was given a few pokeballs and a pokedex. Thanking the porfessor and going outside again his father let him walk in the tall grass for a while and level his new pokemon a few times, calling him Bog because thats what you get when water and ground combine.

Unlike many other kids given pokemon he didn't start going through the gyms, instead going home and doing what he had been long told by his parents he couldn't. Going to the toop of the island and exploring the caves there as well as playing in the ocean without his parents there to watch him. At first he was only able to go in the first parts of the cave, both himself and Bog not able to last long before getting tired and for Bog a little hurt. On one of these jaunts into the caves when he was still fairly young he found a small cave partly hiden that was more dark than normal. Trying to shine his light in this very dark area he was surprised when he saw several Duskulls floating around making the cave darker, almost all of them fleeing when he shined his light in Bog randomly attacked as a few of them tried to flee past him. Getting a few solid hits in and stunning one long enough to knock it out Bog had himself taken some hits from the fleeing Duskulls and when Tor came out from where he had jumped when they started rushing he looked down at the knocked out Duskull infront of him. Dropping a pokeball on it and watching it shake he stood there with Bog as they both watched. When it stoped shaking and gave the ding he huged Bog and leaned down to grab it. holding onto it as they turned and left the cave system as fast as they could, running to the pokemon center and getting both of them healed up.

When he was about 16 years old he got a message from the professor that he needed to come in and get an update and upgrade to his pokedex as well as backing it up. Getting the old man who loved to sail to take him to the mainland he used a map he had grabbed from his house to walk to the lab, keeping both his pokemon as he walked because half of it was through tall grass and other places where wild pokemon roam. Just after passing a city he heard what sounded like crying. Looking around he followed it to some tall grass he found a Ralts covered with scratchs and looking really bad. Picking it up Tor ran back to the city he had left and took the Ralts to a pokemon center. Staying there as it was healed and then released he took it back out to roughly where he had found it and set it back on the ground. Waving bye and walking on he looked back several times and was surprised to see the Ralts following him. Just before getting to Oldale town he stopped and let the Ralts catch up to him, getting down and asking her if she would like to join his party and stay with him. Taking the hug and nuzzling as a yes he touched a greatball he had on him to its head and it was taken in one shake. Calling her out again and setting her on his shoulder he went the rest of the way to the lab like that. Bog and Shadow both taking care of pokemon as they walked, but the little ralts sometimes surprising them with joining in and helping as best it can.

When he was 22 he had left the island a few times and tried his hand at several of the gyms on the mainland, getting a few and losing to others a few times. He was home and resting after a hard gym match and a short excersion into the caves to try his hand again at some of the deeper harsher caves.

Here's my character, blah blah, Sylveon is level 14 because you told me I could have 3 pokemon then, so yay.

Name:

Jonah Icee

Age:

19

Place of Origin:

Sinnoh

Appearance:

A young man with slightly tanned skin, violet eyes and long blonde hair with a purple tint and a part of the fringe tied up by a violet ribbon. He wears a neat, purple and blue suit that fits just right, and looks a bit feminine. He's about 6 feet tall, and lean, and quite the looker, something he's aware of.

Personality:

Jonah is friendly and outgoing, but prone to worry and feeling blue if he's not accepted. He dislikes fighting, and can be seen as a bit of a push-over, though he treasures those he cares about, and would do just about anything for them. He has a habit of fussing over his pokemon, and takes an interest in berries and pokepuffs, as well as grooming and training, but more so for competitions than pokemon battles. When he's in a bad mood, he'll often avoid people, though if they ask him what's wrong, he's more likely to apologize and pull himself out of it than snap or act aggressively. He's got more money than he knows what to do with, and likes collecting rare items, which he has an eye for. He's emotionally very perceptive, though personal bias can make him rather blind. Jonah very rarely puts his pokemon in their pokeballs, and Gallade often outright refuses to due to its upbringing.

Backstory:

Jonah was born into wealth, and was quite pampered, yet lonely the first 3 years of his life, due to his parents being otherwise occupied, and having no siblings. However, one day he was given a Ralts, both for it to take care of him and him to take care of it. They soon become very close friends, acting almost like siblings. Due to this, he grew to become a friendly and open child, expressing himself witho often eccessive words and gestures.

As Jonah grew up, he took an interest in competitions, and trained towards them, taking care of both his and his pokemon's appearances, even fussing quite a lot, becoming worried if they didn't appear to be happy or if they got hurt. This resulted in that the Eevee he had been given when he was about 12 evolved into Sylveon after learning a fairy move. He's been travelling around for competitions for a couple of years now, however, he let himself get talked (pushed, more like) into going to Slateport by Gallade.

Achievements:

Jonah has won quite a lot of competitions, both home in Sinnoh and elsewhere. He has won battles, but no badges, and prefers to stay away from the sorts.

Aspiration:

He aims to be the most famous and beloved competition star in the world, though, he's happy each time he wins, be it a minor competition or a slightly bigger one.

Teleport

Close Combat

Ability: Steadfast

Character: Stubborn and quite human-like, portraying concepts such as honor and pride. He loves fighting, something that Jonah won't let him do that often. That said, Gallade is also fiercly protective of Jonah, the two of them having been friends since Jonah was about 3, and Gallade was a Ralts.

#2

Gender: Male

Type: Fairy

Level: 26

Moveset:

Flamethrower

Facade

It loves berries, and is always carrying one.

#3

Name: Arthur (Sylveon)

Gender: Male

Type: Fairy

Level: 14

Moveset:

Dazzling Gleam

Name: Ethan Blake

Age: 21

Place of Origin: Kanto, Celadon City

Appearance & Personality: A tall, fair-skinned boy(man? he isn't really sure yet) with short black hair an unremarkable physique. Bright blue eyes belie great enthusiasm and drive in everything he does. Wears jeans, sneakers, and the lab coat Professor Oak gave him as he started his fellowship with pride, along with a messenger bag to carry his things. A notebook or recording device can almost always be found in his hands, in case he needs to quickly document something important to his research.

Some people would call Ethan tiresome, distracting, perhaps even overbearing. Most others, though, would instead see the genuine, unrestrained passion he has for the world of Pokemon research and the genuine good will he treats others with - sometimes to the point of naivete.

Backstory: Born and raised in bustling Celadon City, it was always expected that Ethan would follow in his father's footsteps and become a trainer. When he turned ten, his parents, Marshal and Maria Blake, gave him the egg that would eventually hatch into his first Pokemon and closest friend - Kelvin. Ethan showed some aptitude for Pokemon training, and his father expected him to start his journey when he came of age.

Fate, however, had other plans - at least, that's what Ethan says. Shortly before his journey would have begun, he happened across the vaunted Professor Oak giving a public lecture about Pokemon and humanity's place with them in the world. The talk lit a fire somewhere deep in Ethan's soul, and ever since he's been consumed with a desire to know the true relationship between Pokemon and people. Shortly after the lecture, he headed to the local library and began an intense regimen of study, abandoning the start of his journey. Though his parents were baffled by this sudden change, they accepted his decision with some wariness.

After studying for several years, Ethan finally gathered the courage to send a letter to his idol, Professor Oak, asking for the opportunity to study under him. He still proudly carries the acceptance letter he got back in his coat pocket(for good luck, he says), calling it the greatest achievement of his short life.

His latest assignment on Oak's behest is to head to Slateport City - where an unprecedented three Champions gather. Where better to further his quest?

Achievements: A fellowship to study Pokemon under the great Professor Oak himself. Reportedly, Oak liked his enthusiasm. At Oak's behest, he also cut his teeth in the trainer game and obtained several badges from Kanto's gyms a few years ago - snatching up the Boulder and Cascade badges.

Aspiration: To unravel the great mystery that is the relationship between people and Pokemon, unifying it under one great Theory.

Name: Miles Oyama
Age: 17
Place of Origin: Sinnoh, Veilstone City
Appearance & Personality: Bright blue hair, and green eyes, Miles routinely dresses in sleeveless vests, fingerless combat gloves, and either skintight pants or training shorts. He only goes barefoot, but does have a pair of thongs if shoes are absolutely required.

He's a strong specimen, very lean and with muscle definition for his age that could shame a Machop. Outside of a few scars on his hands and a crooked nose, he's what most would call the perfect competitor, strong and quick on his feet, he's of average height and weight and a sparkle in his eyes only someone with great aspirations and dreams could have.

Miles is a upbeat youth filled with the burning fire of having an ultimate goal. Only ever gets negative when he continually fails and even then his drive to succeed is only strengthened. Sometimes to his demise so focused he is on training and overcoming his limitations he's forgone warm clothing in the cold in favor of training and toughening his feet to where he no longer needs shoes.

Backstory: Born and raised in Veilstone City, Miles didn't have much of a dream involving Pokemon beyond the Vulpix he received as a child. It wasn't until he met Maylene a few years ago that his passion erupted and he began training just as hard as her. Both receiving Riolu's as birthday presents, they upped their training together and became closer, with Miles developing a heavy crush.

Unfortunately, he never had her particular talent, possibly because her experience outstrips his own and she quickly became the Gym Leader within years of staring her pokemon journey. This prompted Miles to leave Veilstone with his two Pokemon at the time, Yippan and Scarlet and go train on his own, leaving Sinnoh and traveling the regions, he found Sifon,Yippan's best friend and training partner, and recently, on a short visit back home before taking a ship to Slateport for the upcoming Champion meet-up, he met and captured Raider.

Achievements: Has traveled all the pokemon regions, and won every Fighting Gym badge(Storm,Knuckle,Rumble) with the exception of Maylene(his crush, inexperience and embarassment prevent him from challenging her). In addition, he has won the Soul and Toxic badges.

Traveled through every Region, though doesn't pretend to know every pokemon in the world, but has studied every Fighting-type known in existence and knows them on sight and sound alone.

Aspiration:
- Become Maylene's Equal in training, battling, and socially.
- Become a Gym Leader or one of the Elite Four of Sinnoh.
- Capture every Fighting type known in existence and open his own school to teach others about the glory and happiness training and battling brings.

Appearance: Riley's a tall man, standing at just above 6', and years of outdoor labor have given him a strong, lean physique. His dark skin is unmarred, aside from a few small scrapes and scars, and he generally dresses in tennis shoes, jeans, and a tank-top, though he will throw on a jacket if it gets too cold out. His black hair is worn short.

Most of Riley's belongings are stored in his duffle bag, including his team's Pokeballs. A simple leather necklace, decorated with a couple small charms, hangs around his neck.

Personality: When you get right down to it, Riley has two separate personas. Normally, he's a happy, helpful man, always ready to lend a hand to anyone who might need it. He tends to look on the bright side of things, choosing to see the best in people and what he can do to make any situation easier or more bearable. There is nothing more important to him than his Pokemon, his friends and family, and simply putting a smile on someone else's face.

As his alter-ego, the Masked Ranger, however, Riley becomes another person entirely. Driven by a blazing passion for JUSTICE, PEACE, and FRIENDSHIP, Masked Ranger only appears when there is a great evil to be vanquished! No villain is too big or too small to escape his notice! Aided by his Heroic Hounds, Masked Ranger will face any foe without a lick of fear! It does not matter if you are being besieged by Team Plasma or under the foul sway of an unjust babysitter; simply call for the Masked Ranger, and he will be there!

...In reality, of course, Masked Ranger is just Riley wearing a pair of welding gloves and an authentic "Riolu Kid" mask. An act put on by Riley in an attempt to emulate his childhood hero, Masked Ranger generally isn't good for much more than making kids laugh. Riley, of course, is fully aware that his alternate persona isn't particularly; he doesn't have the battling talent to make a good vigilante, and the police can generally take care of any real danger on their own. As such, he rarely brings out Masked Ranger these days, generally only as a sort of confidence boost for when he's been challenged to a battle.

Backstory: Riley doesn't really like talking about his childhood. Not because of any particular bad memory or trauma, mind; really, his youth was pretty good, all things considered. There was really just one problem though: His dad's choice of career.

Riley knew it, his mom knew it, hell, most of Virbank knew it. His dad was a crook. Not a particularly harmful one, by any means, but a crook nonetheless, guilty of Arceus knows how many petty thefts and scams. Nothing was ever proven, of course; just because he was a crook didn't mean he wasn't smart. But no matter how smart you were, there was nothing you could do to stop rumors floating around Virbank. And it wasn't exactly fun growing up knowing that everything you owned, from the food on your plate to the clothes on your back, was being paid for with other people's money.

From a fairly early age, Riley stopped attending school, choosing to spend the vast majority of his time doing oddjobs around town. There wasn't too much a ten year old could really do, mind, but he would search until he found something, whether it was sweeping the sidewalk or delivering a package. He was determined that someone in his family would earn an honest living.

As kids are wont to do, he would spend his earnings on things that, in hindsight, were a bit on the frivolous side. Ice cream, video games, that sort of thing. However, one day, Riley chose to attend a showing of the latest Brycen-Man movie... And fell in love with its shining hero, The Riolu Kid.

Yes! That was the ideal he wanted to aspire to! A hero of justice who would bravely stand against the evil villains and wrongdoers of the world, always ready to help those in need of his aid! With the boundless energy that only a kid can muster up, Riley, now the proud owner of a Riolu Kid mask, ventured out to start building a Pokemon team that would help him in his quest for love and peace.

There were a few problems with that plan, however. First off, just having a cheap plastic mask and a few Pokemon doesn't suddenly make you an expert battler. Second, even if it did, you didn't just run into true evildoers every day.

Undeterred by either his inexperience or lack of a clear enemy, Riley expanded his search for justice to include some... questionable goals. Like, making sure that all these newspapers were delivered before the sun went down! Or maybe helping out with pest control down at the Virbank Complex!

Eventually, the young Masked Ranger became a hero of oddjobs. And Riley slowly realized that maybe there wasn't a need for a full-time ally of justice in this day and age.

So, he settled. Even if he couldn't stop the evil schemes of criminal gangs everywhere, he could help make sure that the people around him were happy. And that included himself and his slowly strengthening Pokemon. Besides, there was no reason he couldn't keep on being Masked Ranger sometimes, right? Putting on the mask and extra personality was harmless fun.

When he turned eighteen, Riley finally set off his journey. Without any set goal or skills, he and his team wandered the world, taking up work where they could find it and trying to leave places better than they found them.

Now, nine years later, they find themselves in Slateport City. Curious as to what it's like to a Pokemon Champion, they might as well go check out this new tournament, right?

Achievements: Once swept the entire first floor of the Devon Corporation headquarters in less than 30 minutes. Ran up Cycling Road in four hours after refusing to rent a bike. Got lost and spent two weeks wandering around Eterna Forest.

Aspiration: To become a true Hero of Justice.

Pokemon: Ludo (Lucario)
-Male
-Fighting/Steel
-Lvl 29
-Moveset: Force Palm, Feint, Power-Up Punch, Bone Rush
-Ability: Inner Focus
-Character: Initially a Riolu from Floccesy Ranch, Ludo was Riley's first Pokemon, captured in an attempt to immitate the young trainer's latest idol. Ludo was perfectly happy to play along with Riley's stunts when he was younger, but now that they've both grown up (and evolved, in Ludo's case) he wishes that his trainer would act with a bit more maturity.

Skilled in the handling of all manner of brooms, mops, and paint brushes.

Pokemon: Sirius (Growlithe)
-Male
-Fire
-Lvl 25
-Moveset: Bite, Flame Wheel, Fire Fang, Take Down
-Ability: Flash Fire
-Character: A perpetually happy pup, Sirius loves nothing more than playing around with people, whether they're his trainer or anybody else. Easily excitable, the Fire-type will get a bit too playful sometimes, resulting in the occasional scrape or burn for his playmates. He'll typically go into an apologetic funk that'll last for hours at a time.

Good at disposing of burnable trash and helping to lug around large objects.

Pokemon: Blitz (Electrike)
-Female
-Electric
-Lvl 23
-Moveset: Thunder Wave, Spark, Odor Sleuth, Thunder Fang
-Ability: Lightning Rod
-Character: A bit on the timid side, Blitz is easily intimidated when not in the presence of her trainer or teammates. Still, she's fully dedicated to Riley's cause, and eagerly'll do what she can to make life more enjoyable for people.

Can recharge batteries and generators with her natural electricity, and can even magnetize small metal bits for easier clean-up.

Name: Cyrus Amethystein

Age: 20

Place of Origin: Johto, Goldenrod City

Appearance: A handsome, shorter than average boy with brown skin, green eyes and well-groomed black hair. He has a frail, slim build. He usually wears a fancy black suit with a blue undershirt and tie. He wear rings on both his index and middle fingers.

Personality: A hard-nosed, snobby youth with a strong sense of pride. He holds himself to high standards and is eager to prove his worth to anyone who would challenge him. He's very determined when he sets his mind to something, but often runs the risk of pushing himself or his Pokemon too far. He can easily get cocky and overestimate his own abilities.

Cyrus' attitude towards others is a mix between well-spoken and pretentious. He fancies himself a gentleman but tends to look down on most people. He respects those who can match him competitively but is more likely to view them as rivals than friends. He's very anxious about failure. He also has a great deal of interest in apricorn crafting.

Backstory: Born the child of an apricorn crafter and a business entrepreneur, Cyrus grew up very well-off. His family established a successful company in Goldenrod based around designing high-quality, speciality Pokeballs sold through Johto and the supermarts of other regions. Because of this Cyrus enjoyed a wealthy lifestyle, although he always appreciated the value of hard work as taught to him by his parents.

When he was around ten, Cyrus began suffering from severe insomnia. In response his parents got him a Meowth capable of using hypnosis, which would rest by his side at night and lull him into a pleasant sleep. This sparked an interest in Pokemon that would quickly evolve into a passion.

While growing up, Cyrus faced much disdain from others. Some of it came from his own smug attitude, although there were people who disliked him simply for being from a rich family. They would claim that he was a spoiled brat, who inherited everything from his family and had no worth of his own. Cyrus despised these claims and sought to prove them wrong. This combined with his growing affection for Pokemon would lead him to become a Pokemon trainer.

Cyrus settled that he would become a Champion one day. Anything less and there would still be people who could belittle or look down on him. He trained his Meowth, Reza, until he became a Persian and then set off to challenging gym leaders. After hearing news of the three Champions travelling to Slateport City for some sort of competition, Cyrus has decided that he's ready to face a challenge far greater than gym leaders. He seeks to meet the Champions, challenge them and, hopefully, beat them.

Achievements: Has gotten the Plain Badge, the Storm Badge and the Mineral Badge. Caught a Dragonair on his own.

Aspiration: Wants to become a Champion and show up those who doubt him. Also looking to become more skilled at apricorn crafting like his father.

Name: Reza (Persian)
Gender: Male
Type: Normal
Level: 28
Moveset: Dream Eater (TM), Hypnosis (egg), Play Rough, Fake Out
Ability: Technician
Character: Loyal and cunning. Cyrus has owned Reza since he was a Meowth and they share a strong bond. He's usually at his master's side rather than stuck inside a Pokeball. He has sharp wits and is very perceptive.

Name: Darius (Croconaw)
Gender: Male
Type: Water
Level: 22
Moveset: Surf (HM), Ice Beam (TM), Bite, Rage
Ability: Torrent
Character: Eager and rash. Cyrus caught Darius on Johto's route 40. Needing to reach Cianwood to get the Storm Badge, Cyrus decided to make things challenging by catching a Water-type Pokemon and then surfing across rather than paying for a ferry. Darius is enthusiastic about most things, particularily combat, to a headstrong degree. Far from the smartest of Cyrus' Pokemon. He's usually friendly with other Pokemon, although nervous around Electric-types.

Name: Iliya (Dragonair)
Gender: Female
Type: Dragon
Level: 30
Moveset: Thunderbolt (TM), Iron Tail (egg), Twister, Agility
Ability: Shed Skin
Character: Fierce, graceful and arrogant. Iliya exhibits the presence of power and majesty common to dragons. Cyrus caught her during a trip to the Kanto safari zone - a gruelling affair that costed half a day's time, far too much money and several buckets worth of safari balls. Although admired by Cyrus, Iliya views her master as little more than an uppity youth. She's fond of acting on her own and ignoring commands from Cyrus in battle.

sorry for attempting to join your roleplay, I was hoping you would allow your roleplayers to decide their pokemon as they wished for their own personal, unique experience, Sorry I wanted to do something similar to others unnecessarily.

Yeah the RP's still open, and hoping to maybe start it before Christmas.

As for the rest of you, I've noticed some overlap.
I get that Ralts and its evolutions are popular and everything, but you'll have a much better chance of joining if your team is unique, meaning that if you've got the same pokemon as somebody else, don't be surprised if they get in, and you don't.

My apologies, I believed that joining the rp would be based more on roleplay ability rather than coincidences and judge based on the characters personalities and overall enjoyment, what's wrong with some awkward coincidences? Rejecting someone because they have a same pokemon isn't very roleplay friendly. It is possible for people to have these pokemon since there are thousands of a single pokemon and more, wouldn't you agree?

edit: It was also not stated in your original post about the chance of people being denied for choosing pokemon they like just because someone else just so happens to like that pokemon as well. What if its the only pokemon they like? Wouldn't it be unfair to deny them simply because other people have the same opinion on pokemon choice? But I suppose I have no choice but to be forced to change my O.C's pokemon to pokemon I have less enjoyment roleplaying with, depresses me really, I was really hoping to have fun rping those three... But I guess i'm not allowed to have fun if I want to join... :(

I think his point for mentioning that is that there's already 2 Gardevoirs, one Gallade and now your Kirlia, which means that if all four got in, there would be quite an overlap.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That said, I'm not changing my Gallade, because it plays different than Gardevoir or Kirlia (completely different attacks, ability and personality), is male, and is the most vital part of my character. I understand the overlap, but I've got no choice but to take the chance and bet on that Swirlix is unique alone :p.

I think you're overreacting a bit here.

If your character is genuinely better than everyone else's then you'll be chosen to join.
But having half the members have the same pokemon (or same evolutionary branch) is something I want to avoid.

It's why in TES RPs you wouldn't have a bunch of Argonians, simply put having half the group share a species in a game where there's over 700 of the critters to choose from would simply not be good design.
Each pokemon fills a niche, and when there's too much of one in that niche, something has to go.

And I never said that you have to change anything. Just saying that if you're sheet was exactly the same, but more diverse pokemon, you'd have a better shot at getting in.
Is that me not being "Roleplay Friendly"?
I guess so, but there's a line to be drawn at practicality, and having a bunch of Kirlia's flying around would be to the detriment of the actual role-play part of the RP.

If we're not allowed to rp how we like, then why should I bother joining if my experience is going to be forcefully manipulated on fear of not being accepted? Sorry, but unlike you escapist roleplayers, I like to let my roleplayers experience things as they wish, forcing a persons hand just because other people have a pokemon like them is unfair. I refuse to join this roleplay if that is the case. I'd rather join an rp that allows user flexibility than "politely" forcing them to change.

Really wish I didn't waste my time on that application, could have spent it doing something more productive like spending time with my ill brother... sorry, but i'l leave now, I'm sorry for wanting to make my roleplay experience more enjoyable.

Well, that's your choice. Really. That said, you could just have looked at the other sheets and seen what pokemon the other people had. And everyone's aware of the fact that they might not make it in, so if you're worried about that, perhaps consider finding one of the RPs that is first come, first serve?

But yeah, trying to guilt-trip the GM into doing something, and trying to make them feel bad when it's not done is bad form, and I can't imagine any GMs anywhere else appreciating it either. Sheets have to chosen somehow, and overlap is a common way of making a decision.

Stop twisting my words.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything.
I'm telling people a way to increase their likelihood of joining the RP (since I've been PM'ed a few times now relating to that).

And I'm sorry about your brother, but if it was such an issue then you wouldn't have devoted such a large amount of time to making a sheet, instead of making one, arguing with me about what you (wrongly) insinuated that I said, and then reduced his issue to ammunition against me and the RP.

Ehem, in light of the original comment about the large amount of Gardevoir I've edited my sheet a tad. Hopefully it's fine but I can always change it if needed.
