I think its going to be good because i loved Dead Space 1 and the fact that there giving issac a voice sold it for me because that was the only crappy thing about dead space 1 in my opinion.

well dead space is my fav game this gen and dead space 2 is looking great, i really like the story and the universe. and resi5 should have been more like dead space.

Really looking forward to it. As much crap as some of the people I know give it, I kind of liked the ventilation system and how the necromorphs came out of it. I know after a while you learn to look to the vents and be ready, but isn't that kind of the point?

And it was Isaac's voice in that Dementia trailer, right? Sounds pretty good.

I'm looking forward to it. The first one was a lot of fun, but I'm hoping that the multiplayer isn't bad. It seems like it's going to be like BioShock 2's multiplayer, where it's there just because multiplayer is "the thing" to do in games these days.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to disagree with you. The story in Dead Space was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very lacking. I liked the game, don't get me wrong. Enough to get all the trophies in it. The story was literally:

1. Find then fix problem.
2. Listen to characters rejoice.
3. PLOT TWIST?!?!
4. Rinse and repeat.

You did the same bull shit over and over and eventually they recycled levels. I beat the game twice, I know what happens! Bad story! Resident Evil 5 gets a lot of harsh criticism. They were trying to make a scary day game. Not a great idea. Give them credit since Resident Evil 5 still beat Dead Space in my book. I did Platinum both of those games.

Yes, however. I am going to get Dead Space 2. I liked the first one enough to get want the second. Blowing off limbs AND having my enemies react accordingly made me a happy person.

It appears to have become even more Cinematic, not that thats a bad thing.

I would've liked something more Varied than "Shoot the Yellow Pustule!" though because thats what it seems to be shaping up to be, let me use the enviroment more.

The game needs to work on its horror as well, its startling, not scary though.

The Setting and scenery is brilliant and i cannot wait to figure out whats been happening, and i will be praying to every God on the planet for Issac to make it through it in one piece.

The rampant AI and what appears to be Nicole Etched into what little remains of his crumbling sanity is also interesting, i hope they make use of Psycological scenes they could potentialy have.

i hope they will include more Monsters before it rolls out though, Deadspace wasn't very good at being Varied, it just liked to spam Slashers.

Boss fights appear to be Epic, Keep it up.

Also..Multiplayer? sounds good.

All in all, i just want it to come out before January!

I dont want to have to go around fixing shit all the time though, it got so goddamn repetitive half way through till it picks up again, Give it some real pacing and drive OR SO HELP ME GOD!

i've played the first dead space over 15 times and i can't wait..... i think that the 2nd will will bring promising new weapons and a good story... i didn't know they were giving isacc a voice!!!!!

Dead Space was an awesome game. It had its problems, but what game doesn't right?

Dead Space 2 is gonna be a must buy on my list and I hope to enjoy tearing off limbs one more time.

I haven't done much reading on it, but I really enjoyed the first one so I will be picking it up regardless.

Off topic; What weapons did you guys use in the game? I managed to beat it on normal with just the default cutter thing and the line gun.

I liked the first one, it was a pretty solid game overall even if the plot was a bit meh at times. I got the last one on PC but I may get DS 2 on PS3 so I get trophies.

I hope they explain what the hell Peng was.

Pfft! Dead space sucked, I expect only worse from the sequel, it's a very rare thing for a sequel to be better then the original. Why did the original suck I hear you cry, well mainly because it had been hit pretty hard with the consoletard stick but also because it was far less scary than it could of been and any good elements were pretty much ripped straight out of older games that did it better.

I'll definitely get this, although I haven't even finished the first one. Stuck somewhere around the 6th level at the giant necromorph who's unkillable. I'll try to continue after I get some sleep. It's not smart to play Dead Space right before you go to bed.

It's great that they've given Isaac a voice. The lack of a voice was the only thing I didn't like about Dead Space. Isaac's got a name, face and a motivation, now he will get a personality.
