Well, good news for Visceral is that C&C4 set the bar so damn low that they'd have to try very hard to make a worse game.

Bad news for them is that EA is the publisher, so hello shitty DRM that will make people not want to buy it even if it's the best thing that happened to the series since the cast of pure win seen in Red Alert 3.

They have actually been very very good about their DRM as of late. You're 3 or so years in the past.

Except that the previous C&C game used the ubishit style permanent link to their server and a lagspike throws you back to the login screen and resets your progress on that mission. Not that the campaigns weren't a minute over 3 hours each but still.

Command & Conquer: Renegade. Renegade is actually a guilty pleasure of mine, to be honest, and I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel - provided that the developers fixed the incredibly stupid AI that resulted in characters you were trying to escort running in front of your gun every ten seconds.

I'm not sure how a game as awesome as Renegade could be a guilty pleasure. I enjoyed every second of it.

The fact that EA basically dropped it the second it launched after one major patch was upsetting. Everyone I knew had it and we all loved playing it. It had some of the best vehicle controls I can think of.

Part nostalgia but also part really fun old style shooting game .

C&c Generals 2 or C&C:red alert.

C&C:RA3 was rubbish not only that they wasted a perfectly good character called Yuri.

They blew up the franchise with the Tiberian Twilight. What's the point of this game?

Murder it, then blew up it's corpse. EA hates Command and Conquer, its why they did such a crap job with number 4. You dont change an award winning RTS formula to try something new (and incidently, that all people filled the EA forums with hate at the new format) unless you are trying to kill the game.
