dead space DLC

as always i'm behind in the world of games and am just short of finishing dead space on the 360.
i was just wondering if anyone bothered to get the DLC, if it's any good and if i should get it.
i checked using the search bar and saw nothing about it, so wondered if anyone could enlighten me.
so yeah, worth the money?

well yeah that's what i meant. i heard that some of them boosted the power of the guns and things, but i didn't wanna go wasting money just to make isaac a different colour...

The DLc isn't any extra levels, it's just skins and the like.

ah, no i know it's not extra levels. didn't mean to confuse. what i mean is, do any of the packs give you better equipment, or is it not worth it?

Yes some of the equipment is better. More slots, better protection.

I would think it's probably better not to waste your money, I think it does give you a little damage resistance bonus or whatever but it's definately not the kind of thing that's worth spending your cash on, especially now that you've almost finished it.

You get a pretty cool new outfit for your second playthrough in the vanilla game itself anyway, which might help your descision. It's kind of white stormtrooper style.
