(Im sorry if this is the wrong place!)

Just wondering what you guys thought of it. Did you think that it added to the story? Did they mess it up?

Honestly i thought the main character was annoying

Yeah all the characters were annoying and retarded, but it was fairly entertaining.

I thought the game itself was scary (until you get that saw gun that is crazy overpowered with ammo everywhere kinda takes the edge off the game).

Main character needed a voice, and supporting cast could have died faster like all other games for all I care.

On a side note, why do all space-ships have terrible lighting systems? We'd better make sure we invest in sturdier lighting systems when we/if we start mass space transit.

You both do realize this is not about the game right?

I have the movie on my PS3, watched it a few times, it's alright. Does the game and story justice to a so-so game. Is more of a backstory on how fanatical and retarded the religion of Unitology is.

I thought it was pretty cool how it showed the backstory to the game. In the end I liked it more then most horror movies animated or not.

Was far better than the game so it gets points for that. It still looks like it was drawn by a drunken arthritic mongoloid though.
Opposite for me. It was 45 minutes of violence which was nice, but the characters were stupid and annoying.

Also, where the fuck where those laser swords in the actual game?!

Lame. I thought it was really lame, it was on Sci Fi. I only cared for the part about the Captain and the Doctor. After that, typical character types, didn't really add anything for me.

Didn't do the game justice *Which I loved*

I picked up the blu-ray on impulse. Bit of a rip-off for the movie, as the animation seemed flawed in bits, the characters were shallow and annoying and the whole thing was a 5 minute rush-job to milk the franchise fast.

The art gallery in the extras though, that was worth it.

Yeah, gotta agree with you. I loved the game though. I did think that the Movie did help push the story a little more, so I liked it and would like to see more games do the same thing.

The environments were a bit generic e.g lighting as mentioned above. But the zero-gravity bits were cool and its the first game in a while that actually scared me (not loads but enough to warrant the purchase)

I only used the ripper on the small enemies that swarm. I used the first pistol-like weapon the entire game. it was way too useful.

Oh, the movie kinda sucked. I really like the back story on the relic and the cult behind it. I wish they could have done more on that.

Same here about the rush job bit, just wish they could have fleshed things out a bit more with the characters before story wise it all goes to hell.
