In Dead Space Ignition, the story branches out into four paths, two of which portray the main character as a tragic hero and two of which show Dilile coldly sacrificing his partner to save his own skin. So I ask you at The Escapist forums:
1. Do you think any of the four stories will be made canon in Dead Space 2, and if so then which one do you think it will be?
2. Which path do you like better as a stand-alone story?
I preferred story 2a because it fits the dark tone of the series and the theme of the establishment screwing over its people in a crisis, but doesn't make the main character look like a cold-hearted psychopath. I hope this one makes canon, but I can also see path 1 "Direct Route" (I forgot whether it was A or B). I can also see them going the route of not making any of them canon and leaving this to our imaginations.
