If you pledge even just $15 dollars you get a DRM-free copy of the game on release. I call that a bargain!
They even added a 21 $ tier that beside the game offers exclusive access to "The Radio" wich is basically the dev diary (podcast, videos, articles and such). Let's hope that a lot of 15 $ pledgers will upgrade. And we will have our dogs :).

Currently looks like it's getting a touch under 1k an hour. We can hit that 300k mark with a bit of luck and a bunch of us upping our pledges.
Aye, the pledge rate has increased, hopefully it will go up even further. Alternatively we need around a dozen clones of the nutter who pledged $5k!

Again, I know that bumps are discouraged, but in this Kickstarter's last days, I'd really love to get as much money to the devs as possible/inform as many people as possible of this awesome looking game.

Also, I REALLY WANT THOSE STRETCH GOALS.

Apologies for another shameless bump, but there's only 24 hours left to pledge for the Dead State Kickstarter project. Help fund Indie development and help prove that there is still a demand for old school RPGs!

Twenty hours to go, 25k to make. Bumping the thread to see that 300k mark hit. Come on, lads and lassies, we can do it.

Only 4 hours remaining on this project and your last chance to get the game DRM free for half price, or if you're feeling flush your last chance EVER to pre-order the collectors edition.

Let's show these zombies what for!

330 k! I can't fuckin' believe it.
I can't believe you can't believe it. 330K is actually small potatoes compared to what the Shadowrun and Wasteland and Doublefine Kickstarters pulled off.

Still...WOOT FOR DOG ALLIES.

Well, Dead State is a new franchise without an estabilished follower base, differently from Shadowrun or Wasteland/Fallout. And Brian Mitsoda is not a big name as Fargo yet. Not to say that the KS bubble has somewhat exploded and people are a lot more wary about what they should or shouldn't support and how much money is worth. Finally, with little notable exceptions (and The Escapist is one of them) the gaming press largely ignored Dead State KS.

To sum it up: it was a lot more harder for Double Bear to make 330 k than for InXile to make 3 millions. imho.

Most importantly: with fifteen minutes to go, the campaign was still at 310 k. So I could not believe that the Dog Allies stretch goal could have been reached. Not at all. Infact, we just made it because of 3 5k donors in the very last minutes. That's the main reason of my surprise.
