Sad news, I'm afraid. Anyone who's seen the show on Discovery Channel "Deadliest Catch" will
be familiar with Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy, and he will be missed.

Also worth noting is that Phil's health has been an issue on the show before, with him having a few health scares in past seasons, and his overall obviously bad health habits.

I like this article because it says he started crabing at 7, probably the same year he started smoking. He was a cool guy.

Also I'm a bit curious to see how this will affect the show. Do you guys think one of his sons will take the helm? It seems only right. Then again, I know that Phil wasn't actually the owner of the boat, just the hired captain, so really all sorts of bad things could come of this.
