DEADPOOL.

For those of you who are unaware, The Merc with a mouth, the guy who won't die, Deadpool has been given his own game set for release in 2013. Trailer:

The game is an action-shooter-y type thing, and looks like it will suit deadpool down to a t. Think 3rd person hack and slash/Shooter based combat. As to the plot, main characters, all we currently Know is: Deadpool is coming, and he's gonna kick some serious ass.

Well they have the style and attitude perfectly, but this is mostly due to Nolan North being awesome.

As Realitycrash said, marvel don't have a very good track record and from the looks of it this seems to be a linear corridor-crawling repeat of their standard crap. I can see the environments/gameplay being lackluster. :\

I'm going to reserve judgement until i've seen some proper gameplay footage.

From the "teaser" i'm not all that thrilled.

As Zing said above, it looks like it's the same old linear hack and slash crap.

The trailer is really exceptionally well done, however it says nothing of the game that will follow.

Now it is done by the guys who made the new Transformers games (people praise those to no end but I'll say they are decent enough), but there is also Activision at the helm... so I predict a decent middle of the road game with a horrible business model.

Am I the only one who thinks that Nolan North's voice is too deep? Sounds a lot deeper than his MvC3 or Hulk vs Wolverine voice...

Nevertheless, I love Deadpool, so look forward to this...even if the graphics are a bit iffy and such. I enjoyed the Wolverine Origins game, so if it's similar to that I will be happy.

Really? Because there are some great Marvel video games: Spider-man 2, Spider-man: Web of Shadows, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2, The Punisher [2005], X-Men: Legends 1 and 2, Ultimate Spider-Man...just to name a few.

Looks like they've got the attitude nailed (really hope the little boxes are in the game), but the gameplay'll be the real test. Some marvel games can really nail the feel of being that hero, wolverine origins really nailed the feel of being a massive angry dude with metal claws and the spiderman 2 game really nailed the feel of swinging around new york, but it's still rather hit and miss. Here's hoping that this one works out.

Oh, and another thing of note: The feminazis are going to love this one.

To be honest, If they play it like they do in the comics, The feminazis probably... WILL love this one. Deadpool tends to perve over beautiful women and then either miserably fail or get beaten up by them, so thats gotta keep some of them happy right?

I noticed that. I think he's doing it like that beause he's going to be voicing ALL of deadpool, EG: little yellow boxes voices, and he's using his previous voice for the manic side, and that well spoken british-esque one for his less insane side. Guess he needed a middle ground.

Wait, there's another person on the planet who played the Punisher third-person shooter? I'm shocked and amazed.

OT: A Deadpool game, huh? Could be interesting, could be terrible, will hopefully be funny at least. I'm mildly interested. Deadpool has always been one of my favorite Marvel/DC characters.

I saw complains that Activision will be publishing that game. I really don't get it, what publisher is not "the bad one" today?

Where as I think the publisher is a silly thing to complain about. I think it's because Activision is known for making games that are just bland. I don't know if I agree but I am going to reserve judgement tell I see gameplay.

I'm a huge Pool fan but... the game will have to be pretty damn good, and full of witty one liners.
