Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is on sale for $6.79.

For those who never played it, I am completely able to say that this is the best deal they have going on. CRAADA comes with not just one game but it comes with it's amazing predecessor Escape from Butcher Bay. If you never played it, it is absolutely astonishing.

Best movie game of all time contender.

tl;dr It's two 9/10 games released recently for 6.79.

Yeah, PoP is great.

Today's deals are:

Killing Floor $5. I've not played this one, but I have a good feeling about it.

Orange Box $15 This one should go without saying. Problem is that if you don't own it already, you probably aren't interested.

Prey $2.25 As it was said before, some people didn't like this one much, but I think those people are bed-wetting doodie-heads.

Space Siege $5 I'm going to pick this one up. It's by Chris Taylor, and I've yet to play a bad game by him.

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box $7.50 I played this on the Xbox, and it was probably the only Xbox game I liked that wasn't on the PC. It turns out it was on the PC, so I guess my Xbox must-have library is back down to zero.

Bioshock just replaced Prey as the deal of the day because they ran out of keys. As good as I felt Prey was, Bioshock was ten times better. The deal is for $5 but well worth in IMO.

King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame $20
Silent Hill Homecoming $10
Stormrise $7.50
Mr. Robot $2
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor $7.50
Jade Empire $3.75

Sadly, there aren't any I can personally recommend today. Tales of Valor would be good if it had the rest of the CoH game with it (by itself, I heard it's a little lackluster), and I never got far enough into Jade Empire to form an opinion on it. Mr. Robot looks decent, so I grabbed that one.

While I would like to play Silent Hill, it seems like it's a better fit for my 360. I can recommend Jade Empire though. It's easily worth that price so anyone who hasn't played it, get it.

I mean, it's bioware people.

I'm not buying Left 4 Dead, however. I mean, it's a great game, but my friends don't play it and TF2 still satisfies my occasional need for multiplayer mayhem. I've already got too many other great games I don't have time to play :( (thanks in no small part to previous Steam sales!) :)
Mang, I have the same problem. The sales are too tempting especially when they are under $10 for a game you've had your eye on. Then, no time to play them all! D:

Man, isn't that the truth. I get depressed just looking at my "to play" list.

I've got an entire month off and I STILL can't find time to play all the games I bought! (then again, that might have more to do with the Fallout series being so content-rich and addictive...)

Well Jade Empire was one of the top sellers yesterday and it's part of the top 75 played games on Steam sooo....Sequel now?

Left 4 Dead $7.50
Max Payne $2.50
Max Payne 2 $2.50
FIFA Manager 10 $33.50
Call of Duty: World at War $25
Civilization IV $6.80
Osmos $2
EDIT: I technically shouldn't Bold Max Payne 2 since I pulled a Jade Empire on it, but I think most people agree that MP2 was better than MP1 and I LOVED MP1.

On the subject of Civ4, the Civ4 complete package is $13.60. I can't remember if that's been their standard price durring the sale or if its reduced for today. Either way it's a better deal overall than just Civ4 for $6.80.

And yes, Max Payne 2 is a fantastic game. If you have any fondness for shooters or Noir films and haven't played these before, both Max Payne games are must haves. This is made even better by the fact that they've knocked the price down for the pair of them to $3.74, so there really isn't a good excuse to pass on these if you can buy anything on Steam.

Truly, no prior generation has had such problems as these we now face. q___q

Speaking of which, I'm currently staring at the sale on Crysis [http://store.steampowered.com/sub/987/]. If I buy it now, it'll be ready (at minimum expense) when I get my fancy new computer (theoretically in a few months). But, of course, I'm not sure I'll have time to play it, and if not, the demo should suffice. I mean, I've already got three games waiting to be played on this hypothetical future computer, courtesy of past sales, and of course I have more than enough old games to keep me busy until then, and then how much free time will I have once I start my job? Man, I don't think I can handle all the stress these sales cause. ;)

RedLynx Trials 2: Second Edition $2.50

Mass Effect $5 (I short-changed myself on this one as well, but I put more time into it than Jade Empire, so I can fully recommend it.)

Portal $5 ('Nuff said)

Doom Pack Complete $13.60 (Just load the older games into Skulltag and have fun with Doom in full 3D, mouselook, and 1080P. I still have loads of fun with those ancient games. I played Doom 3 with the flashlight mod. Each gun had a different light attached to it so it was really well done and enhanced the gameplay quite a bit. I loved the blue LED light that was on the Plasma Rifle. So cool.)

Sam and Max Complete $15

Devil May Cry 4 $22.50

Devil May Cry 25% off? 5 dollars? Hah. Haha. Hahahahahahaha.

Anyway, Portal and Mass Effect would be good if I didn't already have them.

If my laptop didn't die due to my overall clumsyness, I would've bought Champions Online for 10 bucks and played the hell out of it.
