$5/£3.50

Good deal for those who like Monkey Island and/or Adventure games.
Oh damn I missed that one. Thanks. I'M tempted to get it, and I haven't felt much interest in getting the telltale games until they are done releasing them. Something to do with wanting the most for my money and not being interrupted by a quick ending. Dunno, I'm finicky about what games I get if I can come up with some stupid reason.
I usually preorder them off their site, but yeah I often don't end up playing until all parts are released just because I hate waiting. It's definitely worth the purcahse for such a cheap price. Although I've only completed the first two so far I enjoyed those 2 a lot.

Doesn't look too bad, and it's got a decent metascore (84). It's a fantasy based TBS. Both pieces of the Gold pack are available for $3.50.

$20

Much lower Metascore on this one (56), and according to some youtube comments, they didn't like it much over the second one.

Games I've bought for under £7 on Steam:

The entire DOOM series (yes, every single Doom game ever, all for about £6 or something)
BioShock
Counter Strike: Source
Garry's Mod
Left 4 Dead 2
Splinter Cell
TES4: Oblivion GOTY Edition

Valve, I'm prepared to forgive almost anything you do as long as you keep these deals up.

Yeah, if you look at the first time I posted the Batman sale, I semi-raged on that as well. I might stoop low enough to buy it and deal with the DRM if it reaches $5. I might even rise up to $7.50 if I'm in a good mood, but that would be absolute tops. I still see $7.50 as a good price for any triple A title, even with such glaring flaws.

Another grade-A game that you'd be hard pressed to find a better use of $5. If you like Diablo, you'll like this. Just don't waste your time running the original TQ.exe like several of my friends did. Run the expansion because it is the original game, the expansion AND adds new content/features to the original game.

Damn, that's a deal. I love Guerilla. I respect that it's nothing special, but as a physics engine to dick around in it's a blast.

If this game is half as good as some people have been saying, then $13 sounds like a pretty fair price.

I pretty much don't buy Steam games for anything less than 10, and only if I've heard great things about it. Got Psychonauts for 2 bucks, L4D1&2 for 10 in a package, and Kotor1 for 5 bucks. My gf bought me portal

Users here who inform people of the deals are probably advertising, but not only because they're getting paid, because I'm sure that pretty much no one here is a Valve employee, and if they are they'd say so the get the undying praise that many would give them, though they'd get hammered w/ emails about Episode 3

I love these forums for this reason, because it's a gaming community that cares enough to help people get good games, and make sure bad ones stay on the shelves. They also make sure people play the games with etiquette and don't besmirch the gaming community in the public eye

I bought both of these today for my Mac, as I have heard nothing but good things regarding their quality. I plan on trying them out later tonight, so here's hoping. For Amnesia especially, I've never played a horror-esque game before, not even in the slightest.

At least I'll get a true-Halloween experience.

Plants vs Zombies on the other hand, that game just looks like fun; pure and simple.

Goddammit. SoC isn't available in Germany (WHY!??), but I want Pripyat for cheap. I hate this country.

I just picked up the Stalker bundle, which is great since I've never played any of them but I've heard a lot of good things about them.

Mind you the idea of a video game, based (however loosely) on a Russian art house movie is... odd but intriguing.
