I'll give Rare this:

They gave us Donkey Kong Country, which to my knowledge hasn't fallen to the extent Sonic has. In fact, it's like DK's in a nice retirement, which I suppose is better than being a hobo living off of the favors of assorted gentlemen like the the aforementioned Sonic.

I really liked Nuts & Bolts. I don't see everyones problem with it.

I also fail to see the problem with N&B, it's a Rare-quality game.
Sure, there are a few minor problems with the game, but there aren't a lot of games where you can create a flying Rex [http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Rex].
