Now, before you immediately make some angry comments and try to sagebomb me, hear me out. Okay?

This isn't talking about how Valve take a really long time to release any games. It's also not about the EULA, how Steamworks means a game can only run if you happen to have a Steam account, or even how you make people unable to pay their bills. Actually, I can only think of one place I've seen this happen, but I really don't want it happening again.

A while ago, I was just typing in some random search terms to see if Steam had a specific game. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but I definitely remember what I found: the Gundemonium series. I'm not sure about the quality of the actual games, but seeing as they've been localised from Japan, they must have something of a fanbase, which just doesn't happen for irredeemable games. It also piqued my interest with the style, both visually and gameplay-wise (in case the avatar didn't give it away, I <3 Touhou), so I'll probably buy it.

When it comes out. And you haven't yet said anything about that except 'September 2011'. Or told us how much it'll cost. And you gave it a page anyway, just because you had some screenshots and a trailer (which might be from the PS3 anyway.)

Now, I can only really say this half-heartedly, since if you'd put it up any later I might have missed it altogether. Thing is, you probably shouldn't say anything about something you're not committed to, because the fact you aren't providing any details is making me wonder if it'll actually come out on Steam. Let's face it, I don't want that, so please try not to post something without release details.

And preferably also a 'Pre-order Now' button.

Forgive my denseness but isn't there already the ability to pre-order games on Steam at the touch of a button?

I did a little searching and the release date for the game is September 27th and it looks like the price will be about $9.99 for the collection but if you want an individual game out of the set they'll be about $3.99 each

Pretty sure Steam pages aren't completely up to Valve, and the developer gets to choose what and when things go up.

Yes, but Valve were probably the ones who put it up in the first place, even before confirming anything on their own platform.

I did about the same amount of searching and got the price (thanks for reminding me of the date, I guess), but you're missing the point.
