Option 1.

I will meet Tali. I freakin' will.
And by meet, you mean do.

I'd go option 1. It would definitely be interesting. I don't even remember what bosses I have faced over the years. I would spend a lot of the time fighting Saren just talking to him. He didn't talk enough in my opinion.

Ooh! Are we counting racing bosses? Because I just went back through Crash Team Racing. An oldie but a goodie.

*Edit: Isn't God also essentially creating a trial by fire in which he will forge an endless army of incredibly badass, super strong, pissed off gamers who are really angry that he just made them go through all that and will bring their collective wrath down upon his omniscient ass?
I try not to get ahead of myself.

If you are going to borrow from Eddie Izzard... Please copy correctly; it is in fact "Cake or Death?"

Option one. I'd make it through eventually, but getting through Shadow of the Colossus would take awhile.

Option 1: Unlimited lives, imaginary weapons, option of meeting my gaming homies? - time to kick some ass.

In answer to the title of the post, what about the cake called 'Death by Chocolate'? :D

Option one WOULD be awesome... if i was actually in the physical shape of a game character. Seeing as I'm not, that'd be one long afterlife...

Option 1. Why not? You have all eternity after all... Still, would make me regret ever having played the God of War games.

I'm going with 1 too, just because I get bored after a few minutes of nothing to do, eternity of nothing is far closer to hell than finite pain.

I'm already regretting the amount of arena shooters I've played however, and the amount of fighting games, considering my fitness level is poor to non-existent.

I'm guessing I'd slowly get fitter and stronger as I respawned each time however, just thru the sheer exertion of pulling Johnny Cage's head off his treelike neck.

I'm just thinking of the horrors of Llamatron, Smash TV etc, where I'd actually be at floor level, without the advantage of a top down view to mow down the hordes.

Regretting rolling tank in WOW too, where it's my job just to get hurt all the time thru every fight while everyone else gets to enjoy themselves.

I assume whether or not you beat the game is irrelevant (i.e., if I had only beaten the first Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, it would still count)?

Also, are you able to use potions/fairies in games that have them? Or do you just get the weapons and armor stuff?

And for games where there is a party (ex. FFVII), do you get the exact party you used to beat the boss? How do you choose who you replace, then?

And finally: what if I beat a boss twice, each on a different difficulty (for example, playing Fire Emblem on normal and then playing Hard when it gets unlocked)? Do I fight the bosses on normal, because the first time I beat them was on normal?

Option one. Eternity is a 'long' time. At least agony and pain would give you something to be occupied with. I reckon after a hundred billion years of nothing you'd welcome a few swift disemboweling.

Option one, anytime.
But I don't think it likely that I's ever win. I mean seriously: With my normal body Lavos would not exactly be a piece of cake.

Option 1 is the obvious choice.

And really, picking it would make me very, very glad I've never played Demon's Souls, Ninja Gaiden, or Dead Space. Although I'm sure I'd be regretting playing God of War (fuck Ares), Super Meat Boy, and Bayonetta (seriously, how the fuck would I pull THAT off?).

I'm sure that the cherry on top would be fighting Sephiroth... twice. For both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I'm sure by the time I'm done with THAT particular challenge, I'd have had a seven-foot katana jammed through my chest more often that I'd care to remember.

But the chance to meet Auron, The King of All Cosmos, and the entire cast of Persona 4? Worth. Any. Pain.

Option one. Eventhough it seems impossible you'd learn along the way, just like when fighting bosses in games. So eventually I'd succeed!
I hope.
