I'm just looking for some RPG fun that I can play on my phone when I'm out and about. Something that can be played in short bursts is best for me, even if it's just via "quicksave." I'm not looking for console ports if possible (I know about the Final Fantasy and such games), and I'm hoping to avoid any free to play, X energy per day and paying for power. I'm not completely against IAPs, I just don't want it to be the core of my experience.

I'm definitely willing to pay for a good game, it's just that there seems to be a glut of RPGs on tha Android store that are either free (and usually crap) or I've never heard of (and therefore, not willing to invest in).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be on the heavy side for a phone though.

Penny Arcade's On The Rainslick Precipice of Darkness 3
Cthulhu Saves The World

Both are by Zeboyd Games, which has quickly become one of my favorite companies in the industry, in spite of their almost insignificantly small size.

...oh, and apparently The World Ends With You came out not too long ago on it, as well.
