For me I just treated that like a joke episode they did for the fans, the "plot" was just something to spring all these jokes and spoofs off of.thenumberthirteen said:OT: To me the Stargate Episode "200" isn't canon. A minor thing, but It's all I can think of right now.
Every Resi game has a plot that's like bad fan-faction. It's part of the charm.Krythe said:Resident Evil 5.
Seriously, between blatant Mary-Sue protagonist Sheva, destroying the survivalist aspect of gameplay for the sake of poltical correctness, and NO MERCHANT - it's more like a bad fanfiction than an actual game.
.
Definitely. The 100th episode parodied the Sci-Fi TV business, and 200 just went all out and had Puppets, and Zombies.dalek sec said:For me I just treated that like a joke episode they did for the fans, the "plot" was just something to spring all these jokes and spoofs off of.thenumberthirteen said:OT: To me the Stargate Episode "200" isn't canon. Metroid Other M takes place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. That means it takes place after, in canonical order:Lrbearclaw said:I rreally don't get why all the hate. The story worked well when you consider the timeline. It was early in the series in canon.Niagro said:Metroid Other M.
Nobody here will ask why if they have seen it.
Actually... KotOR 1/2 are canon-based... Revan was male and a good-sided Grey Jedi, the Exile was famile and a Light-side Jedi.HK_01 said:KotOR II comes to mind. Why, oh why would you invalidate everything I did in the previous game by wiping out the Jedi order that I just saved?!
It's also crappy otherwise and doesn't fit with the original at all, so to me it's not part of the canon.
If I recall, I think the original creator wanted the X series to end at X5 and was really upset it got continued.TheBadGamer said:Megaman X6,X7 and X8. For me the X series ended in X5, it was a perfect ending to a really great series, then X6 came out and fuck up the entire story and every thing I loved about the X series.

Yup. Technically, the Megaman Zero series is an alternate to X6 and beyond. Anyone who's played 4 will get how.BelmontClan said:If I recall, I think the original creator wanted the X series to end at X5 and was really upset it got continued.TheBadGamer said:Megaman X6,X7 and X8.
