The canon ending was the 'bad' one, and nothing anybody says can make me feel differently.

The last Metroid was Prime 3.

I'd go so far as to add Prime 2. It's literally the same game as Prime 1 with the only important element being the introduction of Dark Samus. Boring environments, unmemorable enemies, no right to exist (except for DS)

As much as I liked Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's gameplay, the franchise's story ended with MGS4 for me. Every loose end tied up, Big Boss's actual defection preserved as a myth, but still explained, and just an awesome farewell to Solid Snake and the others.

Peace Walker is just milking the cash cow now... Not that MGS4 did not please the fans and all that, but this? This is just too obvious.

The Star Wars Prequels don't count.
The FF7 Compilation doesn't count (except for most of Zack's story, but nix every reference to Genesis, and just replace Big Bad with "other AWOL SOLDIER members").

...Oh. And Shadowrun 4th Edition. (also, in 3rd edition: The only way to fully access the Matrix is through a Cyberdeck. Period. Not a fucking globally-encompassing wireless signal, and not just with your natural brain; ie, The Otaku never existed).

My bad, I merely meant Deus Ex 1, the first, as in not Invisible War - personal opinion, 'The Conspiracy' sounds better than '1', and the games should have been a single entity, not a franchise attempt - no sequels.
