I've been playing a TON of defense grid recently, it was on sale on steam for very little, (may still be, not sure) and well worth the $5 I paid for it. I highly recommend it to anybody looking for some very polished tower defense gaming.
Has anybody been able to gold medal the advanced mission "Fire Control - Green Towers Only"? I've struggled with it for a good while now, and I'm not sure it's currently possible. I do know of the youtube video posted by Drummer2435 in January, the game mechanics have changed enough since then that his solution no longer works.
I'll keep plugging away at it anyway, but if anyone can at least say they've gotten gold in the current patch I'll be delighted! Best I've managed was one of the Crashers escaping with 1/3 health.
