Define "Awesome."

So, I was messing around on the internet, and something just blew me back to my childhood. It reminded me of something that, in my mind, completely defined the word "Awesome." Something that may be the basis for how I judge other things in regards to their "Awesomeness."

That thing you ask? Dino Riders....

A show I watched religiously as a child. If you're too old, or too young, or if they didn't have it in your country/area/etc, I implore you to youtube it.

People rode upon dinosaurs... People attached lazers to dinosaurs... People fought other people riding dinosaurs with lazers..... I think my point has gotten across.

My question to you is this, what is the perfect example of awesome, in your mind?

(The movie "Heavy Metal," was a close second.)

Awesome is something that leaves me in utter awe and shock so...

A gigantic golden palace 2 thousand stories tall, covering 50 million acres with every conceivable object every built ever in every room would be pretty damn awesome.

It takes a lot to get me to react to something, but my definition of awesome is something that I cannot react to because it has left me awestruck. Otherwise, it's just 'boss' or 'cool'.

Awesome is something that is currently in the state of inspiring awe.

Schroedinger did many experiments on the state of awesome including one popular thought experiment.

He placed a LOLcat in a box and added an unstable internet community. As we all know, memes decay rather quickly however it is undetermined how long this takes. He enclosed the box and while the box was sealed the LOLcat was in a superimposed state of Awesome and not Awesome. Of course, the super imposition broke down when someone would open the box because the state of Awesome the LOLcat was in was then apparent when observed.
