I just disconnect the monitor/ mouse/ keyboard and put it in the floorboard behind the drivers seat and have never had a problem transporting it. Everything inside should be mounted, so I don't see a problem. I didn't even use boxes. LOLshapaza said:Tomorrow is my college move-in day. I'm bringing my desktop with me to my dorm. Anything I should do to safely transport it there? I'm thinking of just putting my case (with all components in it) back into the box it came in, between the foam placeholders and with the plastic bag covering it. Same deal for my monitor.
Anyone done this before? Anything else I need to do?

Be paranoid. Lock your car every time you leave. I've run several conventions far from home. Lock your car. Every time.shapaza said:snip
Same what I did. As long as it's packed in there nicely, it will be fine.AC10 said:I just threw it in the trunk and she made it fine.
