I wish you'd told me of this yesterday, I had pizza last night. If I'd of known of this most holy of holidays I would have abstained for 24 more hours. Now I feel like a fool and a heathen and I feel bad about that.

It has something to do with the fact, that many of us think that a Cheese Pizza is way too boring.
Especially when you get older and become an adult.
I dislike this thought.
Which is why I think back to what Rooster Teeth's grand founder, Burnie Burns said.
I don't have a direct quote, but I believe he said that a cheese Pizza is the basics. If you want to know if a place does a good pizza, try the cheese pizza first.
Boy, I want some cheese pizza now.

Pizza is one of the first generation vegetarian's main food groups. It's just under those beans or lentils I made 3 nights ago, but I made so much I'm good for now. And above why does vegetarian have to been so damn expensive, I can only afford one of these this week.MHR said:

When it comes to pizza, and most things actually, the simpler the better. Granted, pepperoni pizza is my favorite, but plain cheese pizza is still pretty excellent. I salute the simplicity!

I never really got the American love for cheese pizza. It's not that it tastes bad or anything, but, I don't know, it just seems like wasted potential when there are so many more options. A cheese pizza to me is like the foundations of what a pizza is but not quite the complete product.
I've eaten cheese pizzas and enjoyed them, but there's rarely a case where I look over a pizza menu and think I want to forgo all those exciting flavours to stick with the basics. It's like eating a steak for a meal with nothing else. Sure it might be a nice steak but some sides and sauces wouldn't go astray.
