Well I thought Valkyria Chronicles did a damn good job obviously it dosent have the nitty gritty visuals but how it tackled its themes was remarkable imo and it showed how war brings out extremes and that while it causes a lot of pain and is responsible for horrific happenings it can also bring out the best in people as well.
It wasnt pro war or anti war but just showed negatives and positives ultimately you could say there were more negatives but regadless its the one game I have played that has actually made me reflect on what was happening throughout the conflict instead of it glorifying/condemning war or just sidestepping the moralities altogether.
