I presume you're talking about MechWarrior 2, rather than Modern Warfare 2, though I could tell you something about how I ended that Call of Duty game, but I'm not going to because that'd make me look like an idiot. >.> As for MechWarrior, sadly not. I was ten, I think, the last time I played it, got about three-quarters of the way through and then it stopped working with XP. Not knowing much about computers back then, I just had to get rid of a lot of my favourite games, which was damn annoying. Star Wars: Dark Forces and MechWarrior 2 were two of my best and now I can't even really remember what happened in either of them. Damn memory...

Yeah, my username did come from MechWarrior. God I miss that game.

And I feel partially the same way about acronyms. Every time I see someone type "jk" (jok(e/ing/es)), I think "Jedi Knight" and my mind goes vruum, vruum, clashhhh, crackle, hissss, "if you will not turn to the dark side, then perhaps she will!" et cetera et cetera. It provides an amusing counterpiece to whatever the conversation is actually about.
