Anything that even remotely resembles Yahtzee's reviewing style is essentially a guarenteed wannabe, and doing a quickfire, sarcastic and "humourous" non-review is a surefire way to copy Yahtzee.


Although, in fairness, you didn't do what most Yahtzee fans do. They normally say in the introduction (if there is one) "I'm not trying to be like Yahtzee". When that line pops up you can just quote it and say "Yes you are."

The reviews weren't good so I deleted it, hopefully so this tread can die. Maybe I'll do some actual reviews of these games. In part, the only reason I tried this was because of the sudden boom of the style here. Personally, I didn't find them funny but everyone else seemed to.

Yeah, a sudden boom of locked threads and idiots taught not to type random crap. Why sink to their level for a popular review? If you didn't find them funny and you were only following a trend doesn't that say something about your confidence in your own reviews?

Less following trend and more trying to see if I could capture the same style. I'm always trying to expand my ability to write, even if I don't see the purpose of writing in such a way. This is gonna be my last post in this thread though, so it can just die.
