Although i neither played Mass Effect 2, nor read your review in full, as long as it was as interesting as KotOR, then I'd agree.

Goes to show how much i care about modern gaming

Now that's... that's awesome.

Like, really good. No wonder you won this time.

Just excellent.

It doesn't really MAKE me want to play the game, but the writing is loads of fun and that is what should matter.

Fucking Mass Effect One, oh how I need to finish you to finally get to the really good stuff.

*blushes* Cheers. :D

And yeah, I've played through ME a few times now and it can be a real slog. But it's worth it, I promise.
My Xbox Red-Ringed, so I've lost all of my progress.

It's a real chore to do those things again.

But, I will do it... for Mass Effect 2.

Excellent review, great read. You got all the points in there. I totally agree with you though, Mass Effect 2 is also my GOTY too. I'm kinda expecting ME3 to my GOTY for next year too... which will be strange, i'l laugh if BioWare gets tons of awards for ME3 next year too.

That was really excellent stuff. Very impressed!

I'm not a fan of the Renegade/Paragon system either, it's fun to choose how you deal with things but the problem is you either have to be a complete douchebag or total goody two shoes to make the system work for you, you can't mix the two.

Very nice! A little shorter than I expected, but that was the competition's word-count limit, was it not? Interesting seeing all the hours of ME2 I watched over your shoulder turned into one pithy and precise appraisal of it. I'm assuming in a longer review you'd have mentioned the plot more (ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL), the scanning mini-game, and the lack of Stupid Bouncy Car.
