I liked Delphine up until she asked me to kill Paarthunax. Her reasoning was ridiculous; she even acknowledged all Paarthunax had done, but said that we couldn't risk him turning back to Alduin? And she thought that his betrayal of Alduin (and the development of morals that brought this change about) made him WORSE?
I wish very much there was a dialogue option that went something like, "Delphine, Paarthunax has been on our side for thousands of years, and he helped me fight Alduin personally on the Throat of the World. What is a better penance: teaching those he helped oppress to fight back, thereby making resistance even possible in the first place, then spending untold years alone in meditation doing his part to help all of Tamriel? Or, getting killed by me for crimes he has long since expiated? Without Paarthunax I could not prevent the *end of the world*. Open your eyes."
I could deal with Delphine being close-minded -- as that's a realistic stance, since many people *are* close-minded -- if the game let my character point it out to her. As it is, your only option is a mute, bewildered stare. Not my Svala's style.
