"INSIGNIFICANT"Says someone who literally just tried to claim a man who was the campaign manager for two consecutive successful Presidential campaigns, and the party's national committee chair, was -- what was the term, again? -- insignificant. A certain clip from Transformers springs to mind.
That pretty much has been the reaction though for all of Trump's campaign and administration officials that have been arrested or spoke out against his administration so it is now the default setting to anytime a Trump supporter sees someone involved they don't like. For example:
Paul Manafort:
*Trump's campaign chair and advisor who was on Russia's payroll and helped Russia interfere with Ukrainian elections in an attempt to take over Ukraine and annex Crimea.
*Conspired with Wikileaks, Russians and Roger stone along with the hackers involved with the hackers that hacked the US department of defense, US officials and the DNC to interfere with the elections.
But ask about him, or any a Trump supporter about it and you will get the " he was insignificant" response just about every single time.
Pretty much the go to response when you have Michael Cohen talking about Trump, General Kelly, General Mattis, Miles Taylor, and the rest of his administration that has all been telling us the same thing.. Like this is just the programming to no matter what they hear now set in a loop. Trump says he doesn't remember him so he MUST be insignificant right? This applies to all GOP now when someone says/ does something they do not like. It is either that or they refuse to believe it at all no matter how much evidence they are presented with.
