Doesn't Talisman of Beasts take a hit on spell power, compared to normal catalysts and talismans? I guess it's the price to pay... I know Insanity Catalyst has the highest spell power, but halves your MP.
Anti Magic Field is pretty good, but shouldn't be used in multiplayer. It causes horrible amount of lag.
If I remember correctly, Talisman of Beasts is the second most powerful catalyst and will surpass Insanity Catalyst if your both, magic and faith stats are high enough.
If someone is making melee-spell hybrid character, I recommend ToB.
