Just Cause 2. We played that demo more than we played the actual game.

Just Cause 2 Had the best demo of all time. You could actually play it for hours.

Except for the stupid half-hour limit, followed by yet ANOTHER introduction by BOOL-OH SANtoZEE, that was the best executed demo I've tried! It gives you everything you need to know about how the real game plays out. It sold the game for me when I was escaping on a plane from helicopter gunships when I realized "Hangon- This is RICO RODRIGUEZ! I'm gonna shoot those damn helicopters!" I turned the plane around, and surfed it while shooting SMG's akimbo at one of the helicopters! About 3 seconds in, I realize my course towards the helicopter was a lot more accurate than I had suspected, and smashed into the chopper I was trying to shoot down! I was thrown from the plane as both flew to the ground in a massive fireball, and managed to parachute my way onto ANOTHER HELICOPTER, hijacking THAT in midflight, and carrying on destroying things with a new sense of immortality.

Torchlight. I went FUUUUUUUU when it ended. Made me buy the game.

Same here, I was kinda pissed when it ended. It was so much fun I didn't mind buying it just to see what could happen. That's how a demo should work.

I remember having a hell of a time playing the God of War 2 demo when I pre-ordered the game.

I also remember having a great time with the Halo Wars demo. Unfortunately, the game itself wasn't exactly that great when I actually got it.
