To each his own, but I have 2 points.

First, having read all the codex entries in both mass effects, AND collected all the audio tapes in bioshock, I have to say that I like the codex system better. It sorts the more important topics in a different section, and it probably takes just as long to listen to the important entries as it does to listen to bioshock's audio tapes. The codex just has that extra section of unlimited filler data for the huge nerds.

Second, you can show me a million posts of people saying they hated it, but I'd say Mass Effect 1's sales over time, and Mass Effect 2's launch sales say something about the first one that can't be ignored.
Revenge of the fallen made over 200 million dollars.

Scott PIlgrim came 5th in the box-office to The Avengers topping the list.

Sales figures aren't really a justifiable mark of quality.

Megan Fox's tits made of 200 million dollars.

Scott Pilgrim was sweet and only did poorly due to being marketed as "another shitty Michael Cera movie" with barely any fighting in the trailers. The avengers had an all star cast that sold itself.

Either way, I am 100% certain that both movies rated as well as the actors within them would have, and would have had much different sales figures based on the actors. This doesn't work with video games really. You COULD say Mass Effect sold so well because of BioWare, but KOTOR was their claim to fame before it, and Mass Effect has even outsold that.

Shoot, I meant to say the expendables rather than the avengers (a film that hasn't even come out yet, so how could you agree with me saying that it came top in the box office?).

Of course Mass Effect's going to outsell KOTOR, there are probably people who'd never even heard of KOTOR that bought Mass Effect and I'm sure "we made KOTOR so buy up you slags...and no, you're not getting another Jade Empire so suck it" made those sales figures go up twofold.

All I'm saying is you can't base quality of a product on the amount of money it made, just saying, you can't.

Lol I thought you meant the Expendables too... I didn't see it, but I knew what you meant cuz it was playing when I saw Scott Pilgrim.

I'm willing to bet more people liked Mass Effect than Jade Empire though.

Unfortunately that's right on the money, but I feel it's less a case of liking it and more just not knowing about it (I've seen whole threads where people have spilled their love for the game, but half the time when I bring it up I'm met by exclamations of "Huh?").

Can we have 2 most hated games? Cause I was just playing an old one:
Lemmings (for PS2): ARGHALARGHBLAGHAHLRFAGA
