i walk the walk of a pacifist. i talk the talk too.
but i am basically combat-ready 24/7. seriously i always have my pocket knife on me, and if i had a gun i'd basically be a marine.

if i got jumped in an alley or something, i like to think that i could suddenly go whoop-A on the assailant. while i wouldnt be so instantly god-like, i do have some combat knowledge. i just have never used it...

I get what you mean, I usually avoid confrontation due to the dangers and cons of it but everybody I see on the street who seems suspicious I am almost instantly ready to kick their ass if they attack. When you know stuff about combat you kinda have the urge to try it once in a while
