So I'm bored, but not in the mood for tough combat ala Witcher 2. Any suggestions for dumb clicking RPGs? Diablo 3 had a quick fix, but no end game. I just tried LOTRO and was totally turned off my the UI, the only 1 setting works graphics and too much damn text.

Any suggestions?

You could pretty much throw a dart at the MMO board blindfolded and hit about 5 of them.. but to name a few..

Allods Online, Runes of Magic, Forsaken World, Perfect World, Pandora Saga..

Beauty is, they're all free as far as I'm aware.

My advice would be to not play a Wow-like MMO, and go and try Airrivals (Ace Online if you're from the US) instead. It's unique enough to warrant a few hours gameplay.

Guild Wars 2, released 28/8, last beta starts 20/7 for all those that prepurched the game.

Solid gameplay and big world to explore.. No monthly cost either, just buy to play.

Yeah I am waiting for that too. No point in pre-ordering until I know I'll have time to play it 3 days early though. Won't be around to play the beat this weekend either.

RIFT is very close to WoW but adds enough variety to make it interesting. I had a free month through Raptr.

From my experience, the only cure to this is more WoW. I've never been able to stick to an MMO like i was with WoW :p

Count me as another vote for GW2. It's a good natural progression over the 8 year old WoW hotkey system without being overbearingly radical. Pretty much the same controls just with subtle aiming and dodging. Best of all, no subscription. I'd still be playing WoW and maybe SW:ToR to this day if I didn't need to justify a subscription. Look out for a beta key for this weekend. There are a good number of sites offering them this time, as it's the last BWE before release and ANet are trying to stir up some hype.

This. WoW is the best WoW like MMO to be honest. Because it IS WoW. Either play a non wow-like mmo or just play WoW. I couldn't play TOR or RIFT because they both felt like just a more clunky WoW, it just seems to be a lot more polished in terms of animation and smoothness. I don't know what's so hard about putting those things in your multi million dollar MMO, so, y'know, it feels good to play?

Kingdoms of Amlaur. Painfully WoW-like.

Be aware it has a ridiculous aspect ratio so your first action should be to get the resolution fixing patch.
What? Maybe it's because my laptop has a ridiculous aspect ratio itself (1600x900) but I've never had a single issue with the resolution.

Though my suggestion is Kingdoms of Amalur as well. It's got action-RPG combat but it's nowhere near the nail-eating difficulty of The Witcher 2, the world is massive (especially with the two "expansion" DLCs) and the aesthetic is very WoW-ish.

I've heard good things about Rift and Tera if you can get free time to try them out. I'm looking at Runes of Magic, but even though it's ftp, I haven't decided whether to download that many GB to my newly cleaned-up HD. There's Drakensang Online if you want a free Diablo clone instead.

Ya if you're looking for an MMORPG I would second Titan Quest. I got some beta keys up for trade if you want OP.

If you want something more like diablo, Titan Quest is pretty good.

Edit: Just checked the prices for you OP, Titan Quest + Expansion is $14, but I'd wait and see if it goes on sale you might be able to snag it cheaper. It goes back up to regular prices on the 23.

Quoted for truth. This game is basically a single-player WoW with a bit of voice acting. Tragically, it's also very boring, uninteresting and I gave up on it after 5-6 hours, but YMMV.

Nailed it. Allods is EXACTLY like WoW. Runes of Magic is 75% identical to WoW (preferred RoM because of Dual Classing)
